In addition, there will also be a six disc limited edition Cinderella Trilogy boxed set packaged inside a functional jewelry case (also available for pre-order Cinderella Diamond Edition to Include Tangled Ever After, Second Screen and New Fantasyland Preview). The boxed set will consist of a the Cinderella blu-ray, a single blu-ray containing both of the sequels (Cinderella, Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True, and Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time) along with individual copies of each on DVD and the digital copy disc). The discs themselves come inside a storybook packaging (Amazon.com has a photo as well as a demo unboxing video).

Brave Disney Poster1 107x160 Brave Soundtrack to be Released on CD in June; Now Available for Pre OrderThe original motion picture soundtrack to Disney/Pixar’s Brave will be released on June 19, 2012, just three days ahead of the film’s release, according to Amazon. While it’s known that Patrick Doyle has assumed the position of composer for the film’s soundtrack, little else is known regarding what else may be featured on the soundtrack in the way of additional music. According to the film’s article on Wikipedia, the soundtrack will feature a song performed by Julie Fowlis, but the quoted source only mentions that one of her songs was used in the television ad for the film, not that it would necessarily be included on the soundtrack itself (the song used has already been released).

Disney Donates $500,000 to National Park Foundation Programs

In celebration of National Park Week, the National Park Foundation – the official charity of America’s national parks – today received a $500,000 grant from the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund to help connect kids and families to nature through America’s national parks. Disney’s investment will go specifically to the National Park Foundation’s “Ticket to Ride” and “America’s Best Idea” programs, which will help kids explore the outdoors by providing transportation to and supporting community projects at national parks around the country.
