Disney to Distribute ‘Bad Santa’ Sequel?

'Bad Santa'In the next step of the bizarre story of the sequel to the 2003 film Bad Santa, several domain registrations have appeared on Disney’s servers. The registrations appear to suggest The Walt Disney Company’s involvement in the troubled sequel which had already been promised in 2011, 2014 and (reportedly) 2016.

The domains in question include BAD-SANTA-2.COM, BADDERSANTA.COM (also the title used in a direct-to-home-video unrated release), BADSANTA-2.COM, BADSANTA2-FILM.COM, BADSANTA2-MOVIE.COM, BADSANTA2FILM.COM, BADSANTA2MOVIE.COM, BADSANTAISBACK.COM and THEBADDESTBADSANTA.COM (BADSANTA2.COM was registered by a third party in 2014 and currently has it for sale for $795).

WATCH: ‘Inside Out’ Trailer from Russia Features a Whole Lotta Bing Bong

Pixar's Inside OutOur bad. We saw that Walt Disney Studios Russia had released a new trailer for Pixar’s Inside Out (June 17, 2015) yesterday, but judging by the first half of it, it looked exactly like the Spanish trailer, but boy were we wrong. Now that Bing Bong — who still isn’t officially unannounced — is available as a plush from Disney Store — not to mention fruit snacks — other countries don’t appear to mind sharing him. While the dialogue is no Richard Kind (or English), at least we can get a good visual instead of the glimpses in previous domestic promos.

Life-size Hulkbuster StatueFor the Marvel fan that has almost everything, Beast Kingdom will offer life-size sculpts of the Hulkbuster from Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is now available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth, although the 9 3/4 foor tall statue — which clocks in at a whopping 1500 pounds — is equally as heavy on the wallet, costing a mere $18,000 plus the custom shipping (not to mention the required lift for ‘installation’). For all that moolah, it’s worth noting that it also lights up. The official description is as follows:

WATCH: ‘Tomorrowland’ Behind-the-Scenes Footage (Minor Spoilers)

'Tomorrowland' Theatrical PosterWalt Disney Studios has presented us with just about 10 minutes of behind-the-scenes ‘b-roll’ footage from Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland (May 22, 2015), which you can find embedded below. The bad news is with so many small segments/quick cuts, the footage is probably best enjoyed by a cat. The good news is that despite not seeing much of each segment, there’s actually some pretty good stuff to be found within it, including a nod that Athena isn’t the only one with a non-aging problem. Towards the end, there’s also quite a bit of the recording sessions for the score by Michael Giacchino.

WATCH: Japan’s Spoiler-Filled ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Trailer Will Have You Begging for More

'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Theatrical PosterWalt Disney Studios Japan’s movie trailers have always managed to deviate from the ‘norm.’ They tend to feature different footage — often including spoilers, which would be considered taboo in other countries — and are edited to create an emotional story, rather than just splashy glimpses of various, unrelated scenes. Perhaps never has this been demonstrated more in this trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron which touches upon just every moment in the film that had audiences gasping. To put it mildly, if you have not seen the film yet, we do not advise you watch the trailer below. Unless you are a diehard Hawkeye fan that is.
