Disney Living Announces ‘If You Can Dream It, You Can Pin It’ Sweepstakes on Pinterest

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) invites you to celebrate the magic of the season through the New Year with the ‘if you dream it, you can pin it’ sweepstakes. The first Pinterest sweepstakes from Disney Living, the campaign includes seven exciting weeks of over $4,000 in giveaways. Fans can now follow Disney Living on Pinterest and enter to win a themed Prize Pack each week featuring DCP’s most popular products from D-Signed fashion apparel to Disney Baby essentials, and an assortment of the season’s top Disney toys, including My Magical Wand Cinderella, Bounce Bounce Tigger and Wreck-It Ralph Talking Figures.

To enter, guests can follow Disney Living on Pinterest at www.Pinterest.com/DisneyLiving and create a personal Pinterest board titled ‘My Disney Living Winter Wish List’ with the hashtag #DisneyWishList in the description. By re-pining at least five items from the Disney Living Winter Wish List boards you can then submit your completed board to Disney Living’s Facebook tab.

A new sweepstakes week begins every Monday, ending January 27, 2013. The prize themes are now live and include Disney Adventure, Tween, Marvel, Disney Princess, Disney Baby, Fashionista, and Disney Channel and Games. The final weeks’ exciting Grand Prize includes Theo Kalomirakis for Walt Disney Signature Toccata Credenza, Walt Disney Signature Neverland Collection Minka Lamp, and Walt Disney Classics Mickey and Minnie Mouse artwork. Disney Living Pinterest followers can enter once per day. One Prize Pack will be given away each week.

‘Delivery Man’ First Image, Official Synopsis

Though a couple of images from the filming have made their way around, we now have what we believe to be the first official image from DreamWorks’ The Delivery Man which stars Vince Vaughn and Cobie Smulders.

The image comes to us via Walt Disney Studios’ annual theatrical preview for the upcoming year. The document also contains what appears to be the first official synopsis for the film:

From DreamWorks Pictures comes Delivery Man, the story of affable underachiever David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn), whose mundane life gets twisted in a knot when he finds out that he fathered 533 children via sperm donations he made twenty years earlier. In debt to the mob, rejected by his pregnant girlfriend, things couldn’t look worse for David when he’s hit with a lawsuit from 142 of the 533 twenty somethings who want to know the identity of the donor. As David struggles to decide whether or not he should reveal his true identity, he embarks on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but the father he could become as well.

Delivery Man is slated to debut in theaters October 4, 2013

‘Brother Bear,’ ‘Atlantis,’ ‘Mulan,’ ‘Hunchback’ All Slated for March 2013 Release on Blu-Ray

Kida fans rejoice! Walt Disney Studios has called in the plumber and the clog has been cleared, resulting in a deluge of animated classics all being released for the first time on Disney blu-ray on March 12, 2013. While not all of have been officially confirmed to us by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, now is the time to start saving those pennies to complete your home video collection.

Continuing recent trends in providing the original motion picture in blu-ray format along with the direct-to-video sequels, first up on the list is the Brother Bear/Brother Bear 2 combo (available for pre-order) as well as Atlantis: The Lost Empire/Atlantis:Milo’s Return and The Hunchback of Notre Dame/The Hunchback of Notre Dame II, all three of which have been directly confirmed to us by WDSHE.

In addition, Amazon.com has also recently began listing Mulan/Mulan II for the March 12 release date (another listing for it has the artwork but no pre-order), essentially confirming that release. The Hunchback of Notre Dame/The Hunchback of Notre Dame II is also listed for pre-order on Amazon, with another listing showing the artwork.

At this point in time, all information provided to us is pointing at ‘classic DVD’ bonus features with nothing new added for the blu-ray releases.

Also being released on March 12, 2013 is Who Framed Roger Rabbit 25th Anniversary Edition as we have previously reported.

‘Monsters University’ Still Has Young Sulley Taking Mike for a Ride (Hi-Res)

While we hope to have a larger version soon, Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios have released yet another new still from their upcoming prequel, Monsters University, via the studio’s official Tumblr.

According to the image caption, When it comes to college life, Mike and Sulley have VERY different ideas of what it means to have a good time — it’s a wonder these two mismatched monsters ever settled their differences.

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. Monsters University unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.

Screaming with laughter and fun, Monsters University stars the vocal talents of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray and Peter Sohn and is directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae. ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ Comes to Eye-Popping Blu-ray on March 12, 2013

No news on a Who Framed Roger Rabbit sequel today, but we did learn that Walt Disney Home Entertainment has finally set a date for the 25th anniversary release of the classic groundbreaking film, making it available for the first time ever on Blu-ray on March 12, 2013.

Based on the novel, Who Censored Roger Rabbit by Gary K. Wolf, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is the story of a cartoon rabbit’s accused of murder and the toon-hating detective he must enlist to help prove his innocence. The film stars Bob Hoskins as Eddie Valiant, Christopher Lloyd as Judge Doom, Joanna Cassidy as Dolores, and Charles Fleischer as the voice of Roger Rabbit, Benny the Cab, Greasy & Psycho.
