Disney Channel has ordered the comedy series “I Didn’t Do It” starring popular actress and recent Radio Disney Music Award winner Olivia Holt (Disney XD’s “Kickin’ It,” and the Disney Channel Original Movie “Girl Vs. Monster” for which she recorded the song “Had Me @Hello”) and newcomer Austin North (“A.N.T. Farm,” “Kickin’ It”), it was announced today by Adam Bonnett, Executive Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide. The multi-camera series will begin production this summer in Los Angeles for a scheduled early 2014 premiere on Disney Channel.

Following in the footsteps of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland’s Cinderella Castle will become the focal point of a new night-time projection-mapping show titled ‘Once Upon A Time.’ With an investment of approximately 2 billion yen (US $21.1 million), the fifteen minute show will open mid-2014 and will include special effects such as on-stage pyrotechnics while using music and imagery from many of Disney’s animated classics such as Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland.

Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey — teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven –to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom. ‘Mickey Mouse,’ a new short-form series of 2D comedy cartoons featuring Disney’s #1 star, will make its television debut with three new cartoon shorts the weekend of Friday, June 28 – Sunday, June 30 at 8:30 pm ET/PT on Disney Channel. New shorts will continue to roll out with Friday premieres beginning Friday, July 5. Episodes will be available on WATCH Disney Channel, Disney.com, the Mickey Video Player App and iTunes following their linear premiere.

Josh Gad (The Internship, Love & Other Drugs, Broadway’s ‘The Book of Mormon’) provides the voice of Olaf the snowman; Santino Fontana (Broadway’s ‘Cinderella,’ ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs,’ ‘Billy Elliot’) lends his vocal talents as Hans; and Alan Tudyk (42, Wreck-It Ralph, ABC’s ‘Suburgatory’) joins the film as the voice of the Duke of Weselton. The talented group of actors joins Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff in the epic adventure, directed by Chris Buck (Tarzan, Surf’s Up) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter, Wreck-It Ralph), and produced by Peter Del Vecho (Winnie the Pooh, The Princess and the Frog). Frozen is slated for the big screen Nov. 27, 2013, and will be presented in 3D in select theaters.
