Watching two families spar off against each other in “Family Feud” is one of television’s most popular and enduring game show formats. In the new primetime celebrity version produced by FremantleMedia North America, “Celebrity Family Feud” will take the fun to another level over the six-episode special series. Steve Harvey, the highly popular multi-hyphenate standup comedian, actor, author, deejay and Emmy Award-winning game show host, will pit celebrities against each other in a contest to name the most popular responses to a survey-type question posed to 100 people. “Celebrity Family Feud” premieres on SUNDAY, JUNE 21 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network.
Ahead of any official announcement, Amazon has begun listing the first season of ‘Star Wars Rebels’ for release on both DVD and Blu-ray on September 1, 2015, which puts it well behind the launch date of season two, which will be June 20.
The entries lack descriptions, so there is no hint at any potential bonus features, but they do report a running time of 450 minutes which appears to be 2 hours longer than the combined length of the first season, including ‘Spark of Rebellion.’ Even account for the introductory shorts, there seems to be a substantial amount of previously unreleased content to be expected.
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment today confirmed an earlier Stitch Kingdom report that it will be releasing several of its animated shorts (from 2000 on) in a unique collection to be released on August 18 (now available for pre-order) as well as a digital release on August 11.

Earlier this evening, Disney legend Alan Menken kicked off a new series at Lincoln Center in New York City titled ‘Artist to Artist’ with the premise that a newcomer to the industry would have the opportunity to interview a master of the craft.
While the majority of the interview included Menken recalling his storied legacy in the world of musical theatre, the closing end of the production ended on what Menken is currently working on. Of the numerous projects Menken was able to recall (the Tangled Disney Cruise Line show and animated series not among them), one he spoke at length about was the Beauty and the Beast live action remake starring Emma Watson.
‘Tangled,’ an animated series for kids, tween and families, based on Walt Disney Animation Studios’ acclaimed feature film, has begun production with Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi reprising their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene (also known as Flynn Rider). The series will premiere in 2017 on Disney Channels around the world. It will also reunite Disney Legend and Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater.
D23 EXPO 2015 will feature the world premiere of ‘Disney in Concert: A Silly Symphony Celebration’ — a live concert performance featuring a 32-piece orchestra celebrating the Silly Symphony animated short films and their accompanying music, hosted by film historian Leonard Maltin. Fans will delight in watching selected Silly Symphony shorts from Disney’s archives while the music is performed live in synchronization with the picture, presented using high-quality, newly restored digital film masters. The music will be performed as it would have been recorded during those historic days at the Disney Studios on Hyperion Avenue in the 1920s and ’30s. This very special concert event will showcase the music of the Three Little Pigs, The Old Mill and many other classics. To ensure as many guests are able to see the concert as possible, two 70-minute presentations will take place on Sunday, August 16, one at 11 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m. in Stage 23.
