‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Hi-Res Concept Art, Stills

(Pictured) TAFFYTA MUTTONFUDGE in the video game world of Sugar Rush. ©2012 Disney. All Rights Reserved. Walt Disney Animation Studios has provided us with several new hi-res stills and concept art from its upcoming film, Wreck-It Ralph. The new images have been added to the beginning of their respective galleries below. Some of these images may have been seen elsewhere before but as we have just received them, we’ve added them to complete our libraries.

Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy®-winning director Rich Moore take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in Wreck-It Ralph. Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer), the ‘good guy’ star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he’s tired of playing the role of a bad guy.  He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero.

On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty. But it’s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade.  Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it’s too late?

VIDEO: ‘Be Our Guest’ Restaurant West Wing Preview with Walt Disney Imagineering and Chat Recap

The West Wing at 'Be Our Guest' RestaurantEarlier today, the official Disney Parks blog held an internet chat with Walt Disney Imagineer Chris Beatty who is overseeing the New Fantasyland expansion at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Featured in the chat was the reveal of the ‘forbidden’ West Wing inside the Beast’s castle which is represented in the New Fantasyland Fantasy Forest area as the ‘Be Our Guest’ restaurant.

The chat opened up with this video featuring Imagineers Tim Warzecha, Ted Robledo and Chris Kelly as they toured the restaurant, including the West Wing section, and gave an overview into the design and thought process behind the new dining location.

Inside the West Wing, diners will find both the enchanted rose from Beauty and the Beast as well as the portrait of the Beast hanging over the fireplace. Guests who are able to dine in the room will be able to witness petals magically appearing to fall from the rose — when the last petal falls, a ‘lightning storm’ occurs, causing the windows by the rose to flash colors and the painting of the Beast will transition into the Prince before the guests’ eyes. While Beatty stopped short of explaining the frequency of this magical moment, he noted that the timing was balanced so that each guest dining would be able to experience it, but it wouldn’t occur often enough as to become repetitive, or not special.

Be Our Guest RestaurantBeatty also spoke on the music box centerpiece of Belle and the Beast dancing, located in the Rose Gallery section of the restaurant. The music box serves as a gift to the couple from Belle’s father, Maurice. Inside Maurice’s workshop at Enchanted Tales with Belle, just before guests enter the magic mirror to visit Belle in the castle, they can find the maquette of the statue as well as plans, hidden amongst Maurice’s work (SPOILER: the maquette can actually be found looming in the dark in the top left corner of the wall that contains the magic mirror). Inside the restaurant, the music box will play the same music found throughout the restaurant; as guests move from the ballroom, where the music is played as full orchestration, it will turn into a music box form inside the Rose Gallery.

While it’s set to open on December 6, New Fantasyland is currently undergoing a ‘dress rehearsal’ — or soft opening — on most days. Not all of the new expansion’s features can be found today, however, as Beatty hints there is an object currently missing from beside Gaston’s portrait inside the tavern.

During the chat, the Disney Parks blog also announced it will soon be offering a special Disney Parks blog meetup on November 17, allowing guests to visit Be Our Guest along with the Imagineers. Details have yet to be announced.

‘The Bachelorette: Ashley and JP’s Wedding’ to Air on ABC in December

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, the second “Bachelorette” couple to ever walk down the aisle, will share a dramatic new chapter of their love story with millions of viewers and Bachelor Nation when ABC televises their much anticipated wedding on “The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.’s Wedding” on  December 16 at 9:00 pm ET/PT.

The couple, who became engaged in beautiful, exotic Fiji at the end of Ashley’s edition of “The Bachelorette” in August 2010, will let viewers in on all the exciting festivities – from her dress fitting for her dazzling custom-made gown to Ashley and J.P. planning the big day with their wedding planner. Then it’s on to their bachelor and bachelorette parties, and the next stage of their romantic journey with a beautiful wedding ceremony in the perfect location.

Past “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” couples, stars and participants (to be announced at a later date) will be on the guest list to help the couple celebrate, along with their families and friends.

Ashley and J.P.’s love story has come full circle at last. Ashley began by being one of the favorites to capture Brad Womack’s heart on the 15th edition of “The Bachelor” in early 2010 and narrowly missing her goal of finding a future husband. She got her second opportunity to find love on the seventh edition of “The Bachelorette,” after determining to find balance between her career and personal life. However, her search for “Mr. Right” had to survive a shocking and emotionally taxing journey. Initially Ashley’s own sister even had her doubts about J.P., but all was quickly forgiven. Finally, Ashley got her fairytale happy ending as she gave J.P. her final rose and he proposed. Since then they have been inseparable. Ashley, 28, graduated from dental school at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently completing a specialty in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. J.P., 35, continues as a successful construction manager in New York City. Now they’re really ready to begin their life as man and wife and to have a family of their own.

Hosted by Chris Harrison, “The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.’s Wedding” is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss and Martin Hilton are executive producers.

“The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.’s Wedding” will be available on ABC.com the day after airing on the network for users to watch online. For more information on “The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.’s Wedding” please visit ABC.com.

‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Clip, ‘Hero’s Duty’

'Wreck-It Ralph' Teaser PosterWalt Disney Animation Studios has released a new clip from its upcoming film, Wreck-It Ralph, which debuts in theaters nationwide on November 2, 2012. In the clip, titled (appropriately enough) ‘Hero’s Duty,’ we catch up with Ralph as he enters the first person shooter game, having assumed the identity of one of the game’s regulars, in an attempt to conquer the tower and claim the medal as his own.

Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan—win a medal—but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?
