On this, the eve of the release of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice from Walt Disney Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer, Disney has released the following clip from the film they’ve aptly titled ‘You should run.’
Walt Disney Studios has just sent us this theatrical poster and several stills from their upcoming summer release Tales from Earthsea from Studio Ghibli, the partnership that most recently brought Ponyo to the United States.
Tales from Earthsea, directed by Goro Miyazaki, is loosely adapted from the third and fourth volumes in sci-fi author Ursula K. Le Guin’s infamous series of cult novels — all set in Earthsea, a Tolkien-esque fantasy realm. Gedo Senki opens at a point when Earthsea is deteriorating rapidly, and the power of magic is waning — tendencies signaled by the sudden, frightening reappearance of dragons in the land of humankind.

Walt Disney Animation Studios has just provided us with the title treatment for Tangled which will be released nationwide on November 24, 2010, this holiday season.
Unfortunately, while the original image is well over 10 mega-pixel in size, WordPress had an apparent problem with the resolution until we dumbed it down to the size we were able to post. We wanted to keep the resolution ashigh as possible so that you can see the fine detail in the lettering of the film’s title. To do this, click on the smaller representation below to see a version that fills your screen, then click on the resize icon which will show the image in its original uploaded size.

Of course this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that there will be a video game adaption of Disney’s Tangled about the time it hits the theaters, but just to throw it out there, Amazon.com now has the game listed for the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS for release on November 16, 2010.
We will publish as soon as we hear of more details on the title or if we learn it will be released on additional consoles.
