Disney/Pixar unleashed a furious storm of YouTube videos recently on its official channel.
Among the offerings are new video remixes from Australian DJ Pogo who shot to Disney fame with his previous release UPular last year in honor of the Disney/Pixar film UP. Pogo continues the new tradition with Toyz Noize and Buzzwings, using soundbites and footage from the Toy Story films backed with a music track to create a brand new viewing experience.
In addition to the music videos on YouTube, cast and crew from Toy Story 3 talk about their YouTube addiction themselves. The video features director Lee Unkrich, producer Darla Anderson and cast members Kristen Schaal (Trixie) and Jeff Garlin (Buttercup).
Disney Consumer Products and Thinkway Toys have revived the popular video series on the Toy Story Collection line of toys with a brand new installment, this one featuring the all new Mr. Potato Head. In this episode, John explores the origin of the Playskool favorite’s (potato) chip on his shoulder and why Don Rickles was the only real choice to voice the sarcastic spud.

In honor of the upcoming Epic Mickey game exclusively for the Nintendo Wii from Disney Interactive Studios and Junction Point Studios, Disney has released several new screenshots as well as the following teaser trailer (look out for what appears to be the Partners statue — with a twist).
The game will allow the player to explore the cartoon wasteland as Mickey Mouse, using the Wii remote as either a paintbrush or paint thinner, respectively creating or erasing items in the game with promises of changing the gameplay based on the player’s choices.
With absolutely no game description, no release date, no game rating and no game title, Square Enix has confirmed that it plans to release a 3D chapter in the Kingdom Hearts series for the Nintendo 3DS, the new portable gaming device that introduces 3D gameplay without the need for glasses.
During a presentation for the new game platform, Nintendo of America also announced that it has reached agreements with multiple studios to release 3D films for playback on the platform, including Walt Disney Studios. Disney’s Tangled was used, in part, to help demonstrate the new product.
Supporting Disney’s ongoing commitment to helping kids and parents achieve healthier lifestyles, Disney Channel will premiere the second season of Playhouse Disney’s popular animated short-form series for parents and preschoolers, “Tasty Time with ZeFronk,” on MONDAY, JULY 19 (9:25 a.m., ET/PT), with new episodes every day throughout the week. Perry (as Agent P) and Phineas and Ferb were joined on stage by legendary Vegas entertainer Wayne Newtown who paid a special tribute to the secret agent. The special performance was part of Disney Consumer Product’s closing presentation at the 2010 Licensing International Expo.
