Oriental Land Company, the owner and operator of the Tokyo Disney Resort, today announced its plans for the 15th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea: a year-long celebration titled ‘Tokyo DisneySea 15th Annivesrary: The Year of Wishes.’ The event will kick off on April 15, 2016 and continue through March 17, 2017.During the event, crystals of various colors symbolizing individual wishes will decorate the Park. The crystals will even sparkle on the Disney characters’ costumes and merchandise, creating an atmosphere of hope and dreams throughout the Park.Kicking off the anniversary event will be ‘Crystal Wishes Journey,’ a brand new show to be presented at Mediterranean Harbor only during the special event period. The Disney characters, each with their own wish, will appear in this show that celebrates the start of the Guests’ journeys of adventure, sparkling with hope.Also debuting during the event will be a new version of the popular show ‘Big Band Beat,’ featuring new music, costumes and scenes. This will be the first time that the show has been changed since it opened in July 2006. In addition, a brand new musical show incorporating projection mapping will premiere at the Hangar Stage in Lost River Delta in mid-2016.The Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, where Guests can continue the feeling of adventure, will also be celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2016. Besides the festive decorations around the hotel interior, the hotel will offer special menus at the restaurants and the lounge starting from April 15, 2016.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment may be keeping us all in suspense as to when they will finally announce the Blu-ray release of its live-action Cinderella and which bonus features will be included, but fortunately Walt Disney Studios Australia (who released the film two weeks after the United States) has not already targeted for a June 24 release, but has begun releasing several short snippets from the bonus features — most of which we previously mentioned here — all of which you can find embedded below.

Watching two families spar off against each other in “Family Feud” is one of television’s most popular and enduring game show formats. In the new primetime celebrity version produced by FremantleMedia North America, “Celebrity Family Feud” will take the fun to another level over the six-episode special series. Steve Harvey, the highly popular multi-hyphenate standup comedian, actor, author, deejay and Emmy Award-winning game show host, will pit celebrities against each other in a contest to name the most popular responses to a survey-type question posed to 100 people. “Celebrity Family Feud” premieres on SUNDAY, JUNE 21 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network.
Ahead of any official announcement, Amazon has begun listing the first season of ‘Star Wars Rebels’ for release on both DVD and Blu-ray on September 1, 2015, which puts it well behind the launch date of season two, which will be June 20.
The entries lack descriptions, so there is no hint at any potential bonus features, but they do report a running time of 450 minutes which appears to be 2 hours longer than the combined length of the first season, including ‘Spark of Rebellion.’ Even account for the introductory shorts, there seems to be a substantial amount of previously unreleased content to be expected.
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment today confirmed an earlier Stitch Kingdom report that it will be releasing several of its animated shorts (from 2000 on) in a unique collection to be released on August 18 (now available for pre-order) as well as a digital release on August 11.
White Coffee Corporation has announced it will be releasing single-serve Marvel-branded coffee and hot chocolate to be available later this year in retail outlets nationwide. In addition, the products will be available at the upcoming New York Comic-Con.
The Marvel Comics Coffee line consists of four single serve varieties, featuring Marvel’s Super Heroes’ likenesses splashed, in bold colors, across each 10-count box including: Iron Man’s ‘Stark French Roast,’ Spider-Man’s ‘Daily Bugle Breakfast Blend,’ Captain America’s ‘Shield Hazelnut’ and the Incredible Hulk’s ‘Gamma Espresso Roast.’ The suggested retail price is $6.99.
