The official Walt Disney World Resort website began reporting yesterday that the ‘Playhouse Disney – Live On Stage!’ show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closing for refurbishment on January 30 and scheduled to re-open on March 6. Although there is speculation that the refurbishment may be to change the limited references to those of ‘Disney Junior’ (which is likely), it’s also almost the exact same time period the attraction closed last time to debut as its current incarnation in 2008 which means that there could be some show changes in the works as well. If that were to be happening, it’s most likely to remove the canceled ‘My Friends Tigger and Pooh’ and inject some more current and relevant content such as ‘Special Agent Oso’ (who would actually fit in quite perfectly with the current show) or even ‘Timmy Time’ if licensing allows. On a side note, the last change ‘replaced’ human Jamie with Casey and as of yet, no public casting notices have been published to that effect (still plenty of ambiguous names to go!).
Video: Cast of ‘Mary Poppins’ Performs on ‘Dancing With The Stars’
In case you missed it on last night’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ results show, or just want to re-live the magic all over again, ABC has released this clip from the show featuring the full Macy’s Stars of Dance performance of ‘Step in Time’ from the Broadway production of Mary Poppins featuring the touring cast.
In addition, ABC has also released this backstage clip in which Caroline Sheen (Mary Poppins), Nicolas Dromard (Bert) and Associate Director Anthony Lyn talk about adapting the musical number for the national televised stage.
New ‘TRON: Legacy’ Clip – Sam Reunited with Kevin Flynn
In this clip recently released by Walt Disney Studios, Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) is reunited with his father, decades after Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) has disappeared. Also shown during ‘TRON Night,’ it takes place shortly after Quorra delivers Sam from the game grid. Although there is quite a bit of footage between the two clips, this one jumps to the point where the two actually connect after being apart for so many years which have taken their toll hard on Kevin.
TRON: Legacy will debut in theaters nationwide in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D on December 17. For more news and information on the film, follow this live bookmark.

Pictorial: Inside Mickey Mouse — The Anatomy of a Cultural Icon
It takes a brilliant mind, a keen eye, a strong heart, an iron stomach and a steady hand to pull back the red and black curtain that serves as the skin of the world’s most beloved fictional character, Mickey Mouse. New York artist Jason Feenry appears to posses all of these as he presents his latest reveal, a sculpt titled ‘Mickey Mouse Anatomy.’
To satisfy the curiosity of those who aren’t quite as equipped to dabble in the miracles of modern science, Jason has been kind enough to provide an entire gallery of images that chronicle just how he managed to pull it all off. But be forewarned, it may not be for the squeamish.
