Production has begun on “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure,” a Disney Channel Original Movie directed by Emmy Award-winning director Michael Lembeck (“Tooth Fairy,” “Santa Clause 2” and “Santa Clause 3.”). Ashley Tisdale stars as the scene-stealing drama queen Sharpay Evans in the role she made so popular in the “High School Musical” TV movies and feature film. “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” is scheduled to premiere in 2011 on Disney Channel.
Former “The Bachelor” and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Melissa Rycroft gets set to co-host “Bachelor Pad,” the exciting new competitive reality series from the producers of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” Rycroft will host alongside Chris Harrison (“The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette”) when the series premieres Monday, August 9 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.
“Bachelor Pad” reunites 19 of the most unforgettable suitors from the hit franchise “The Bachelor.” The series, which marks the first “all-star” reunion from previous seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” will feature the contestants living together while competing against each other in a series of challenges. At stake is $250,000 and maybe a second chance at finding love.
Throughout last night’s episode of The Bachelorette on ABC, Ken from Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3 (and Mattel) offered up a healthy dose of dating tips for ‘today’s bachelor’ through interstitial ads for the show.
No woman stands a chance against the trained sights of the bachelor armed with these valuable tips and a few cans of hair spray (solid!).

The Last Song, a coming of age love story, from bestselling novelist and screenwriter Nicholas Sparks (Dear John and The Notebook) comes to Blu-ray Hi-Def Combo Pack and DVD editions on August 17, 2010 from Touchstone Home Entertainment. Bonus features include filmmaker commentary, making of the Miley Cyrus music video “When I Look At You,” deleted scenes, set tour and alternate opening sequence.

Although no official press release has been issued as of yet, TheHDRoom has reported that Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will be releasing both OCEANS and The Crimson Wing on Blu-ray/DVD Combo packs on October 19, 2010. Both will have an MSRP of $39.99.

Local NBC affiliates have been running this story about Alex and Donna Voutsinas, a couple whose paths crossed in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom when they were both children, only to meet and eventually marry years later. When sifting through family photos for their wedding photos, a particular picture of young Donna caught her fiance’s eye when he spotted his father (and himself) in the photo’s background.

Beginning June 8, Playhouse Disney’s Handy Manny will become the next celebrity to sport a milk mustache as part of the Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP)’s ‘Got Milk?’ ad campaign. Print ads will first run in English in magazines such as Disney FamilyFun and People. Later this year, in conjunction with ‘Hispanic Heritage Month,’ Handy Manny will appear in milk ads in Spanish.
The official Disney Vinylmation blog today features a first look at the 9″ and 3″ versions of the glow-in-the-dark Vinylmation ‘Create Your Own’ blank figures which it will be offering as a limited release at the Disneyland Resort later this week. No release dates have been set for the Walt Disney World Resort or DisneyStore.com yet.
The blog also lists a Disneyland Resort debut of June 18 for Vinylmation, Jr. Series #2.
ABC Family is expanding its music presence on the network’s website ABCFamily.com – launching “The Sound Booth” on Monday, June 7th. “The Sound Booth” will feature unique opportunities for users to discover new artists, stream music videos, download music, and experience their favorite ABC Family shows and talent.
