StarWars.com has published photos of and information on the final four Star Wars Big Figs due for release the second week of June. They will retail for $195 each and be limited to 600 pieces each, with 500 going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and 100 going to Disneyland.

Disneyland Ticket Booths Shut Down Due to White Powder Threat

The OC Register reported that cleaning crews called in reports of a suspicious white powder was found on some ticket booths early Sunday morning. Guests who had already entered the parks were allowed to remain but the booths were shut down until the powder could be tested and confirmed harmless.

Animal Kingdom Lodge''s Newest Resident, a Ruppell’s Griffon Vulture (c) Disney

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge recently welcomed a new “resident” – a Ruppell’s Griffon Vulture hatchling that is a member of a threatened species. While weighing less than six ounces and about eight inches long when hatched, a vulture could grow to reach sizes close to three feet in height, with a wingspan of nearly eight feet, and can weigh 15-20 pounds. The baby and its parents reside on one of the unique resort’s savannas at Walt Disney World Resort.

Lion King Las Vegas Tickets on Sale Feb 28 – Free Gifts

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, tickets for the Lion King Las Vegas will go on sale February 28 beginning at 7 am at the Mandalay Bay Box office and until 10 am (or supplies are exhausted), ticket buyers will receive free gifts. The first 100 buyers will receive a complimentary original cast recording CD of the musical while the first buyer will also get signed copies of The Lion King: Pride Rock on Broadway and Disney Theatrical president Thomas Schumacher’s How Does the Show Go On? There will be an additional gift available to all while supplies last.
