Disney Consumer Products to Unveil Web-Connected Toy Standardization Proposal at Engage Conference

Rick Riordan’s ‘Heroes of Olympus’ Series to Launch via Live Webcast October 12

On October 12, 2010, join fellow demigods and go back to Camp Half-Blood with the most-anticipated new series of the season, The Heroes of Olympus, by bestselling author Rick Riordan. First Look: Disney/Pixar’s ‘Brave’ New Title Treatment

Disney’s Hollywood Studios cast member Paul Chadkin spotted and photographed the first known title artwork for Disney/Pixar’s Brave today in poster form at the park’s Animation Building. Note that the logo for the film (originally titled The Bear and the Bow) has been modified from the original photo for its presentation here and may or may not properly represent the true artwork.

Pixar animator Chris Chua noted that Princess Merida (Reese Witherspoon) and her mother, Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson) are prominently represented in the logo here as well (pay special attention to the detail in the lettering).

Video: Sneak Peek at Season Premiere of ‘Modern Family’

ABC has just released this video promoting the upcoming second season of its Emmy Award-winning comedy, Modern Family. A clip from the season premiere is preceded by a small interview with cast members Eric Stonestreet (who also won an Emmy for his role on the show as Cam), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell), Julie Bowen (Claire) and Ty Burrell (Phil) as well as some red carpet interviews delivered by Rico Rodriguez (Manny).

Modern Family returns to ABC with all new episodes on Wednesday, September 22.
