Earth Day is still several months away, but we’d like to share with you this new still from the upcoming Disneynature release OCEANS. In the photo, a diver swims alongside a great white shark near Guadeloupe Island off Mexico.
Below is our entire gallery of stills from the film.
In this clip from Old Dogs, the setup ends up showing Robin Williams’ character suffering from side effects from pills that belong to his friend (John Travolta) using a combination of FX and physical comedy.
Although some of it has already appeared in the trailer, it was also part of an extended clip shown during the Walt Disney Studios presentation at the D23 Expo. There, the clip featured not only more of Robin Williams’ performance, but the disturbing (and very funny) effects that John Travolta’s character endures while at a funeral (it’s better than it sounds). The entire clip was actually hilarious and completely turned me around on this film. So sit back, relax and enjoy!
At the Epic Mickey official announcement by Disney Interactive Studios and Junction Point Studio’s Warren Spector held yesterday evening in London, the news of Pete’s inclusion wasn’t the only cat raising some eyebrows. In attendance of the event were many celebrities including Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt who appeared to have almost as much fun learning about the game as she surely will playing it.
CELEBRATION, Fla., Oct. 29 — A first-of-its kind water coaster that sends guests racing above the upper decks of the ship. An animated turtle that engages children in conversation about life in the ocean. A sophisticated lounge where the sun sets over the skyline of a different world-famous city each night. When the Disney Dream debuts in early 2011, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet will bring to life these innovations and more.
The Disney Dream will take family cruising to all-new heights, embracing the spirit of innovation, magical family entertainment and immersive experiences that have made Disney Cruise Line the preeminent cruise of choice for families since 1998.
Disney Cruise Line revolutionized the cruise industry with purpose-built ships designed just for families. With the Disney Dream setting sail on Jan. 26, 2011, preparations are underway to expand the one-of-a-kind family experience, utilizing technology to enhance the world-class entertainment and legendary guest services onboard. From stem to stern, the Disney Dream will offer a cruise experience that caters to the preferences of the whole family.
“For more than a decade, passengers have filled their passports with memories sailing around the world with Disney Cruise Line,” said Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo. “With the Disney Dream joining our fleet, we’ll be able to take families to even more places they never imagined they could visit – in true Disney style.”
The Disney Dream features a remarkable interior design which provides guests with a warm and welcoming feel throughout. The ship’s design offers guests a perfect blend of elegant Art Deco style and fun-filled Disney whimsy to create one of the most spectacular ships afloat. Distinctly Disney guest features aboard the Disney Dream include:
In tandem with the press conference Disney is holding in New York City surrounding the new Disney Dream and its innovations, USA Today has been releasing additional information, photos and (soon) videos of the individual experiences.
First up is the 765 foot long AquaDuck, billed as the world’s first water coaster. Using the same type of technology employed in the theme parks, guests will ride an inflatable raft through a clear acrylic tube that rises four stories above the top deck and even features a loop that takes guests off the ship, 150 feet above the water. At one point, the AquaDuck riders even pass through one of the children’s areas, but that may be all the kids can do as the ride is so intense, it will have a height requirement.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The 17th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off March 3 – earlier than ever – and continues for 75 days through May 16, 2010, with bold strokes of seasonal color and brand-new topiary whimsy. Last year’s festival began March 18; now Walt Disney World guests get a head start on the gardening season as they explore exhibits and activities geared toward discovery and outdoor fun.
Even before spring has sprung, Donald Duck and his topiary pals set up camp in full floral color to celebrate the Great Outdoors at the Epcot front entrance. The elaborate topiary with a North American theme, live waterfall and pond features Goofy in a fly-fishing misadventure, Daisy Duck roasting marshmallows over a campfire and Pluto in his “pup tent.” It’s a must-stop photo op for guests as soon as they pass through the park turnstiles.
“The advantage of starting earlier is that we’ll be able to feature more brilliant color than ever, with richly hued petunias, violas, snapdragons and other hardy flowers,” says festival horticulture manager Eric Darden. “By starting earlier and going through mid-May, it allows more guests than ever to experience the festival and to plan ahead for their spring and summer gardening.”
