In honor the film’s presence at San Diego Comic-con, Miramax has just sent us this rather chilling photo of Katie Holmes in its upcoming release Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. Directed by Troy Nixey and Produced/co-written by Guillermo del Toro, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark is a remake of a horror telefilm in which about a little girl (Bailee Madison) who is sent to live with her father (Guy Pearce) and his girlfriend (Katie Holmes) in the old mansion they are renovating, only to unwittingly unleash malevolent creatures bent on destroying all of them.
Adventures By Disney has announced a brand new itinerary featuring the country of Egypt which will begin in 2011. Bookings for the new tour begin on July 21, 2010.

Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival will celebrate its sixth anniversary in 2011 with six weeks of culinary experiences for guests of all ages, April 29-June 12 at Disney California Adventure park and select locations across the Disneyland Resort.
Chefs, winemakers and guest speakers will focus on cultures, tastes and traditions with hundreds of tantalizing demonstrations, along with outstanding wine and spirits seminars. Guests will also feast on delicious food, wine and beer available throughout Disney California Adventure park.
In the new ABC Family original comedy series, “Melissa & Joey,” Melissa Joan Hart portrays Mel, the grown-up former wild child of a political family who is now a local politician herself. When her sister ends up in prison and brother-in-law flees after a scandal hits, Mel must take responsibility for her teenaged niece, Lennox, and adolescent nephew, Ryder. Spread too thin to manage by herself, help comes in the unlikely form of Joe (Lawrence) who, desperate for a job, moves in and becomes the family’s “manny.” “Melissa & Joey” debuts on ABC Family on Tuesday, August 17 with back-to-back original episodes, at 8:00PM & 8:30PM ET/PT. The half-hour series will air regularly on Tuesday nights at 8:00PM ET/PT.

In The Debt (rated R by the MPAA for some violence and language), Rachel Singer (Helen Mirren) is one of three Israeli Mossad agents who were sent on a secret mission to capture a notorious Nazi war criminal in 1960’s East Berlin. Now, decades later, she must go back undercover and risk everything once again. The film was directed by John Madden (Shakespeare in Love and Proof) and also stars Tom Wilkinson, Jessica Chastain and Sam Worthington.
On its official Facebook page for Tangled, Walt Disney Animation Studios has offered up this concept art from the film which shows Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) at the top of her tower, looking off into the distance, all 70 feet of hair flowing endlessly in the wind.
Along with the artwork was the following in quotes, most likely to be song lyrics from the film: ‘Look at the world so close, and I’m halfway to it…’
