Inspired by the image on the theatrical poster, LEGO enthusiast Stefan set out to re-create this iconic Jack Skellington scene from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas as an entry for an online musical-themed contest.
Needless to say, his amazing piece took top prize and we’re thrilled he was willing to share it with us (the image that is, not the prize — not quite as happy about that part).

Good news for Disney Vinylmation fans who sometimes get turned off by the blind pack shopping experience. Vinylmation has announced they will soon be releasing an open edition of 3″ Vinylmations in a windowed box titled ‘Big Eyes’ featuring classic Disney characters. As you can see by the photo courtesy of the official blog, the artwork featured on the Mickey Mouse shaped figures is just that.
Something tells us that the Marie from Aristocats as featured in the image will end up being one of the more popular figures.
