Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has set a date for the release of the highly anticipated Monsters, Inc. on Blu-ray. Initially expected to be released back in May alongside A Bug’s Life, the new street date is November 10. With an MSRP of $39.99, the 2 disc set also includes the film on DVD as well as a Disneyfile digital copy.

Lions may be the kings and queens of the African bush, but their kingdom is fast disappearing. He interacts with the lions in an intimate way that has never been seen before, but that does not protect him from the aggressive traits that cause lions to turn on him and attack at a moment’s notice. And hundreds of miles away in the bushland of Namibia, Animal Planet host and big cat trainer Dave Salmoni is risking his life trying to rehabilitate a pride of wild lions so dangerous that they were earmarked for destruction at a national park. In an audacious attempt to save them, Dave convinced the owner of the Erindi Game Sanctuary to let him teach the aggressive pride of lions how to calmly live among the eco-tourists that support the park. But is it worth risking his life?
On MONDAY, AUGUST 10 (7:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT), Disney XD presents a high-flying evening on boards and bikes, including a new “Zeke and Luther” episode in which the skateboarding buddies finally go “pro,” and a half-hour “Next X” reality series special, hosted by professional BMX athletes Scotty Cranmer and Van Homan, that follows five amateur action sports athletes age 9-12 to the big-time at X Games 15. It will be available on DisneyXD.com immediately following the TV premiere. A lot has changed since we brought you news and photos of the Muppet Whatnot Workshop located in person at FAO Schwarz in New York City and (then) online. FAO Schwarz has changed hands and is now owned by Toys R Us. While the physical FAO stores in New York City and Las Vegas remain open and the Muppet Whatnot Workshop is alive and well in New York, the FAO website (as you may have noticed) is in a transitional state and ordering the Muppet Whatnots online is not possible at this time.
