Not too many details have been released yet, but Tom Bergeron (host of America’s Funniest Videos and Dancing with the Stars) is set to host a panel titled The ABCs of Disney at the D23 Expo on Thursday, September 9 at 3 pm. Alongside Tom will be Steve McPherson, president of the ABC Entertainment Group, who will be introducing Expo attendees to sneak peeks at upcoming ABC television series.
The worldwide success of Snow White let Disney Studios create new studio buildings in Burbank, CA, and produce even more ambitious features, such as Bambi, Pinocchio and Fantasia. The last film featured classical music and an orchestra conducted by Leopold Stokowski. Although well regarded by critics, none of the films was immediately financially successful, in part because overseas revenues were affected by World War II.
Disney Fine Artist David Garibaldi will offer his ‘Rhythm and Hue’ performance at the D23 Expo prior to the Live auction on Saturday, September 12. Garibaldi’s act infuses music with his style for producing rapid portraits of famous people in under ten minutes. In addition to his many televised appearances, he was also the opening act for the Blue Man Group tour in 2008. Garibaldi will perform in the Arena at the D23 Expo at 6:30 pm on Saturday. Admission to the D23 Expo is required to see his special performance.

Earlier today, WFTV, Channel 9 in Orlando, reported on a raid against an Orange County business under the moniker of Ticket Mania who allegedly operated a front to collect credit card information and, in turn, used that information to purchase and re-sell Orlando area theme park tickets illegally online.
Regretfully for many, WFTV apparently left out several key facts reported by others that resulted in a misrepresentation of the situation and can have serious reprecussions for a company that has provided outstanding service by many reports for many years.
There will be no performances of Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 11 and 12

I was under much debate as to whether to even make a story of this since it has little to do with The Walt Disney Company, but considering JetBlue services MCO (Walt Disney World), LGB (Disneyland Resort) and SFO (Walt Disney Family Museum) and this has to be an unprecedented offer, it does make some sense to share the news if you haven’t heard already.
