Guests of the 2009 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival at Walt Disney World Resort can see amazing creations made entirely of sand to celebrate the new theatrical release Earth, presented by Disneynature, which premieres nationwide April 22, 2009. The 16th annual festival takes place March 18-May 31, 2009. Amid a colorful tableau of flowers, plants and topiaries, Walt Disney World guests of all ages can explore myriad exhibits and activities geared toward gardening and outdoor fun.

Disneynature to Plant Tree for Every Person Who Sees the Film “EARTH” in the First Week

Disney Television Stations to Launch New Network in April

The Houston Chronicle reports that the ten television stations that make up the ABC Owned Television Stations Group  (AOTS) will be launching a new network in late April to be carried by Comcast and other cable providers called LiveWellHD. The channel will feature original content created by the stations in the group which includes Houston’s KTRK ABC13. More details can be found in the article here.

The Disney Store UK announced plans today to sponsor a 50 acre section of Heartwood Forest, an 858 acre endeavor to bring a a new native forest to England.

The Disney Store UK will be selling a specially designed reusable bag featuring Winnie the Pooh and Piglet with a portion of the proceeds going to Disney’s section, dubbed the Magical Wood.

On “The Sopranos,” Imperioli won an Emmy Award for his portrayal of Tony Soprano’s nephew, Christopher Moltisanti.
