Checking Out The View From Disney Studios

UPDATE:  Tickets are no longer available for the Walt Disney Studios tapings, but see here for a related contest.

The LA Times is reporting that The View will be broadcasting from the Disney Studios in Burbank, CA the week of March 9.

The inspiration for the location came from executive producer Bill Geddie who accompanied Barbara Walters when she was honored with a Disney Legends Award. The article cites Geddie as being enamored by the Disney Studio’s Legends Plaza (see image on left) which faces the seven dwarfs adorning the Michael D. Eisner building and holds replicas of the famous Disney statues Partners and Sharing the Magic in addition to a giant sculpture of the Disney Legends award itself. Plaques containing the names of Disney Legends cover the plaza’s columns.
