ABC Family today announced that it is about to begin production on the pilot for ‘Beyond,’ a one-hour drama about a young man who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and discovers new supernatural abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy.
Dentsu Entertainment USA, Inc. has entered into an agreement with Disney XD in the U.S. to telecast 26 half-hour episodes of the Japanese brand phenomenon ‘Yo-kai Watch,’ it was announced jointly today by LEVEL-5, Inc. and Dentsu Entertainment USA, Inc.
‘Yo-kai Watch’ is an animated comedy series that follows the hilarious misadventures of an average human boy and his involvement with the mischievous Yo-kai all around him. Our young hero obtains a special watch, empowering him to discover and summon the mysterious Yo-kai, befriend them, and then work together to solve everyday problems… problems that are often caused by other trouble-making Yo-kai!
Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, LEGO has shared a first look and details at the buildable First Order Stormtrooper LEGO set from Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. The set will be available for purchase in January 2016.
The LEGO buildable figure (75114 LEGO Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper) will be 81 pieces and retail for $19.99 and is recommended for ages 7-14.

We’re just about two months away from this year’s Disney D23 Expo and the news and updates are starting to roll in, with two major announcements being made this evening on the Expo’s ‘Things to Know‘ page.
During its presentation earlier today at E3, Square Enix and Disney Interactive announced the first announcement for the upcoming title ‘Kingdom Hearts III,’ the new world of Tangled, which was developed in direct partnership with Walt Disney Animation Studios. To celebrate the announcement, new screens plus a gameplay trailer was released. Fans of the highly-anticipated title will see Sora and his trusted friends, Donald Duck and Goofy, adventure through the world based on the hit animated feature film, Tangled. The trailer also gives new hints to the storyline and showcases gorgeous visuals, and new gameplay elements.
Earlier today, Disney D23 made announcements on behalf of Walt Disney Animation Studios for their panels and presentations at the upcoming D23 Expo. Included with the release were several images for upcoming projects, including one for Moana (November 23, 2016). What we unfortunately didn’t realize at first was that the accompanying artwork — while similar to the original concept art released for the film — has been updated with much finer detail with the lead characters, who have been repositioned on the boat. In addition, the artwork displayed on the sails has also been updated. An image showing comparisons between the two is included below.
