With Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland (May 22, 2015) in theaters — well — tomorrow, Walt Disney Studios has provided us with a round of its traditional ‘fun facts’ to provide some fun insight into the production of the film, which you can find below.
We’ve obtained the full list of credits for Pixar’s Inside Out (June 19, 2015) and while some additional voices have been known (and even reported first by us), there are still some additional surprises for the tuned ear when it comes to some very famous folk lending their vocal talents to the film.
Earlier today, Disney Store launched its largest shopping experience to date in the Lujiazui area of Pudong, Shanghai, China. In addition to over 9,000 square feet of immersive shopping experiences, the store also includes and outdoor plaza. The opening comes one day after the topping of the Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disney Resort, which will open in 2016.
The Chinese characters representing the specific date and time chosen to open its doors to the public — May 20 at 1:14 pm (???????) — represents highly popular social media code among young people as a time to openly express love and long-term commitment to each other.
Key art for Pixar’s upcoming film The Good Dinosaur (November 25, 2015) has surfaced online, appearing to have originated on Tumblr according to the photo source. I will say having seen several upcoming products for the film that the images appear to be completely legitimate.

Owners and operators of the Tokyo Disney Resort, Oriental Land Company, today announced they will be opening a new motion simulator attraction set in the world of Pixar’s Finding Nemo and Finding Dory in spring of 2017. The attraction will replace the current StormRider attraction which is set to close in May 2016 to make way for the new attraction. According to Oriental Land Company, Pixar animators from Finding Dory will directly contribute to the ride’s visuals.

While nothing from the Marvel Cinematic Universe was shared at this weekend’s ‘Marvel Unlimited+’ members only panel at New Jersey’s first Atlantic City Boardwalk Con, footage from upcoming animated series was shared with the attending audience. Among the footage was an extended clip from the upcoming Disney XD animated series, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ — or to be more precise, one of the shorts that will lead into the series. The shorts will actually help establish the Guardians for the viewing audience with origin stories and the like.
