‘Pretty Little Liars’ Spin-off, ‘Ravenswood,’ to Premiere in October; ‘PLL’ Renewed for Fifth Season

ABC Family has greenlit the original one-hour drama series ‘Ravenswood,’ a spin-off of their number one- rated series ‘Pretty Little Liars.’ ‘Pretty Little Liars’ has also been picked up for a fifth season it was announced today by Michael Riley, President ABC Family. Both series will be produced by Warner Horizon Television.

From ‘Pretty Little Liars’ executive producers I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Joseph Dougherty and Leslie Morgenstein, ‘Ravenswood’ will center on a town, not far from Rosewood, PA (the home base of ‘Pretty Little Liars’), which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers suddenly find themselves connected by this fatal curse and need to dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for each of them. The series will premiere on ABC Family following the annual “Pretty Little Liars” special Halloween episode in October 2013.

Disney Channel has provided us with these first look images at the fourth season premiere of ‘Good Luck Charlie’ featuring an appearance by the Muppets. In the episode, titled ‘Duncan Dream House,’ the Duncan Family decides to build their dream house after the family home is devastated by termites. Everyone, with the exception of Charlie, is excited at the prospect of a new and larger home. However, Teddy has a change of heart after a dream in which Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and Animal convince her that the old family home is really the house of her dreams.

Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and Animal join series stars Bridgit Mendler and Leigh-Allyn Baker to perform a show-stopping, Muppet-ational original song, ‘Dream House,’ penned by Grammy and Emmy-award winning Adam Schlesinger and produced by Schlesinger and Steven M. Gold.

Look out for the Muppets and the season premiere of ‘Good Luck Charlie’ on Disney Channel on Sunday, April 28 at 7:30 pm ET/PT.

Looking ahead in season four, Luke Benward, star of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie Cloud 9, joins the cast for a special six-episode story arc. Benward plays Beau, a charming teen with extensive knowledge of bugs, who captures Teddy’s attention after Bob hires him to help with the business. Also in the new season, Teddy and Spencer work at remaining good friends, PJ enrolls in cooking school, Gabe develops a crush on his new neighbor and the bug business isn’t so great for Bob. All the while, Amy juggles life as a mother to five, Teddy works on her college application process and Charlie celebrates turning four years old.

WATCH: New ‘Cars Toons’ Shorty Shorts

‘Teen Beach Movie’ Soundtrack Details

teenbeachmoviecd 160x160 Teen Beach Movie Soundtrack DetailsIn the Disney Channel original movie, Teen Beach Movie, teen surfers McKenzie and Brady are magically transported into a 1960’s beach movie. They figure they just need to blend in until they can find a way to get back home. However, blending isn’t easily done when everyone around them routinely breaks into song and dance seemingly for no reason. And when they accidentally interfere with the plot of the movie and make the romantic leads Tanner and Lela fall for them instead, it looks like they might be stuck for good.

While the movie will premiere on Disney Channel on July 19, the soundtrack will be available on July 16 and is currently available for pre-order from Amazon.com Teen Beach Movie Soundtrack Details. The track list is as follows:

‘DuckTales Remastered’ from Capcom Available Summer 2013

fc575e2bc0b04a64ad7bc5751301e908 160x90 DuckTales Remastered from Capcom Available Summer 2013Earlier today at PAX East, Capcom announced they will be reviving the popular ‘DuckTales’ NES title for NextGen consoles with ‘DuckTales Remixed.’

According to Polygon, the new version has new hand-drawn sprites, and features Disney’s voice talent, remastered versions of the original’s 8-bit music. New elements include a tutorial, Scrooge’s Money Bin and a museum.

It will be available this summer for Wii U and PlayStation Network for $15 and Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 points.

A trailer announcing the game has also been released.

‘Lilo & Stitch’ Blu-ray Release to Join ‘Emperor’s New Groove,’ ‘Atlantis’ on June 11

lilostitchbluray 135x160 Lilo & Stitch Blu ray Release to Join Emperors New Groove, Atlantis on June 11When it comes to releasing animated classics from Walt Disney Animation Studios, there appears to be little to no rhyme or reason for the release order and timing — at times it’s just downright mayhem. When Blu-ray releases seem to conveniently coincide with a release date anniversary milestone, such as Mulan’s 15th, and touted as such, it often makes consumers wonder why some films seem to have been forgotten.

Enter Lilo & Stitch which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2012. Unfortunately the year came and went without any fanfare save for a respectable mention at D23′s national ‘Fanniversary’ events. In 2013, however, 11 years after the film’s release, the tides are apparently about to turn.

With still no official confirmation from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment as of yet, Amazon.com began accepting pre-orders for Lilo & Stitch/Stitch Has a Glitch Lilo & Stitch Blu ray Release to Join Emperors New Groove, Atlantis on June 11. While it appears there may have been a date associated with the release, not only has Amazon.com removed any references to a release date, it’s actually removed release dates from The Emperor’s New Groove Lilo & Stitch Blu ray Release to Join Emperors New Groove, Atlantis on June 11 and Atlantis: The Lost Empire Lilo & Stitch Blu ray Release to Join Emperors New Groove, Atlantis on June 11 which were initially listed with a June 11, 2013 release date. What appears to be final artwork for the covers has been added, however.

As always, we will provide more information as it becomes available to us and such news would appear imminent at this point.

UPDATE: Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has now officially confirmed the release of all three movies (and their respective sequels) to be released on Blu-ray on June 11. No details for bonus features have been supplied for any of the releases.
