MTV has shared the clip from Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015) that it premiered earlier this evening on the MTV Movie Awards program. The clip, which features Iron Man as Hulkbuster taking on Hulk in the streets, is just a portion of the clip we previously described that was shown last month at the annual Disney shareholder meeting. For full details of the scene, which of course includes details seen below, see our previous report.
Walt Disney Studios has released its newest television ad for Tomorrowland (May 22, 2015), which aired earlier tonight during the MTV Movie Awards. You can find the new advertisement which features new footage embedded below.
From Disney comes two-time Oscar® winner Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland, a riveting mystery adventure starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney) — jaded by disillusionment — and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as Tomorrowland. What they must do there changes the world — and them — forever.
Promotion for the upcoming Disneynature film Monkey Kingdom (April 17, 2015) has been lackluster at best considering its release is less than a week away, but we finally have our first official clips from the film — as brief as they are — featuring narrator Tina Fey, which you can find embedded below.
We have also learned that the original song featured in the film is titled ‘It’s Our World’ and is performed by ‘The Voice’ season five runner-up, Jacquie Lee. The song was written by Matthew Tishler, Felicia Barton and Aaron Benward and will be released digitally on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Disney Music will contribute a portion of each sale from the single — through May 12 — to the film’s benefactor, Conservation International.
ABC Family today announced it has greenlit pilots for ‘Gorgeous Morons’ and ‘Beyond.’ These two pilot greenlights come hot off the heels of the network picking up saga series ‘Shadowhunters’ and single camera comedy ‘Kevin From Work’ to series.
From ABC Signature Studios, ‘Gorgeous Morons’ is a half-hour multi-cam comedy that focuses on two stunningly handsome but ridiculously simple brothers — one is a model, the other a personal trainer — who find their lives rocked by their brainy new roommate, a female literature PhD whose looks are, by their standards, in desperate need of help.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ marks the halfway point of the competition with its biggest show yet, ‘Disney Night,’ with all new celebrity performances on Monday, April 13 (8:00 pm – 10:01 pm ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network. The show will begin with an opening number featuring all your favorite live action and animated Disney characters dancing with the entire cast. Each couple will then perform to songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios films including Aladdin, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid and Frozen. The evening will also showcase fun and exciting animated elements of Disney animation, with nods to memorable moments from Disney films. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy will be kicking up their dancing shoes throughout the show. One couple will face elimination at the end of the night.

Production is revving up on the animated series ‘Mickey and the Roadster Racers,’ a madcap car-racing adventure for preschoolers featuring Disney’s #1 star, Mickey Mouse, and his pals Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Daisy and Donald. Slated to debut in 2017 on Disney Junior channels and programming blocks around the world, the series takes the Sensational Six and their uniquely personalized vehicles on humorous high-spirited races around the globe plus hometown capers in Hot Dog Hills. The announcement was made today by Nancy Kanter, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and General Manager, Disney Junior Worldwide.
In a move that should bode well for the series currently in development, ABC and ABC Studios have applied for a trademark for ‘The Real O’Neals,’ a half-hour single-camera comedy that’s being executive produced by activist Dan Savage, creator of the ‘It Gets Better’ project. The series was formerly known under the working title of ‘Family of the Year.’ The official description for the series pilot is as follows:
