ABC Family scares up the 2013 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN celebration, with programming filled with scares and frights as you countdown to Halloween. The popular programming event, now in its 15th year, starting Saturday, October 19th, and concludes on Thursday, October 31st, features a brand new episode of “Pretty Little Liars” and the highly anticipated premiere of spinoff series “Ravenswood.” The stunt will also include the ABC Family feature film premiere of “Men in Black,” the network premiere of “Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story OF TERROR!,” and a ghoulish mix of Halloween-themed programming airing for the 13 nights leading up to Halloween.
Guests at the D23 Expo will be among the first to see the highly anticipated one-hour drama Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Sunday, August 11 at 3:00 p.m. in the D23 Expo Arena. Marvel’s Head of Television & Series executive producer Jeph Loeb will introduce the screening, taking place during the ultimate Disney fan event, August 9 – 11, at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Hosted by Derek Hough, ‘Family Dance Off’ is a one-hour special featuring five families who love to dance and who get the chance of a lifetime to perform and compete on a Hollywood stage before a live studio audience. Five families with a variety of backgrounds and styles will perform, the studio audience will vote, and the favorite family will dance away with a grand prize of $10,000. ‘Family Dance Off’ airs Sunday, August 25 at 9:00 pm ET on The ABC Television Network.
ABC’s hit TV series, “Revenge,” introduced Emily Thorne (portrayed by Emily VanCamp) and her complex mission. The show’s storyline has hinted at Emily’s covert training on remote Rebun Island with master Takeda. Now, from a member of the show’s team, comes Schooled in Revenge (Hyperion Trade Paperback and eBook | August 20, 2013 | $14.99), the first full-length original novel that immerses readers into that training, as a new vengeance-thirsty heroine seeks out Takeda’s guidance to learn how to right terrible wrongs.
ABC has cast Kelly Reilly (Flight, Sherlock Holmes) as Dr. Elizabeth Black in the limited series ‘The Black Box,’ a 13-episode drama scheduled to air in 2014 on the ABC Television Network. Reilly plays a world-famous neuroscientist who unwraps the mysteries of the brain as she juggles complex issues of her own.
Elizabeth Black, world renowned neuroscientist, appears to have it all. In an impossible journey to find balance in her life, she is constantly haunted by her own struggle with mental illness. On the outside, Elizabeth has a special touch for the patients she treats at The Center for Neurological Research and Treatment, otherwise known as “The Cube.” However Elizabeth’s mental illness is not the only secret she’s kept locked away from her family and her new fiance.

ABC will be bringing star power to Comic-Con 2013, with its returning fan favorite “Once Upon a Time,” as well as two new highly anticipated series debuting this fall, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” and “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.”
On Friday, July 19, Marvel Television will introduce fans to their first live action television epic with their new ABC series, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” featuring a panel with executive producer Joss Whedon and Marvel’s Head of Television and series executive producer Jeph Loeb. The show will also be spotlighted at the Marvel Entertainment Booth on the Convention Center floor throughout the entire weekend, with special surprises to be announced.
“Celebrity Wife Swap” is back and all-new on Sundays this summer. Kicking things off Sunday, June 23 at 8:00 pm ET/PT are the popular mother-daughter duo of Joan and Melissa Rivers, who trade lives with Bristol and Willow Palin, two daughters of one of today’s most controversial politicians, former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin. This summer “Celebrity Wife Swap” will also feature the girlfriend and wife of former WWE wrestlers “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, on Sunday, June 30, and actress Nia Peeples will trade lives with singer Tiffany on Sunday, July 7. Three additional episodes will air this summer (subjects to be announced).
During tonight’s season finale episode of ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’ at 9 pm ET/PT, viewers will catch a glimpse of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz of Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated fame (as well Disney Channel’s ‘Phineas and Ferb’) pitching the sharks his shrinkinator — perhaps ‘Doof is Due!’ t-shirts, anyway.
The promotion for the appearance, which is actually part of a full three minute video embedded below, spilled over onto Twitter recently with Dr. Doofenshmirtz (@DoofDaily) trading barbs back and forth with the sharks, including attempting to sell Real Estate magnate Barbara Corcoran on going in on purchasing the entire Tri-State Area.
Chloe drugs June, calls off her friendship with James and goes to AA in the final unaired episodes of “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23,” currently available in their entirety on WATCH ABC on ABC.com, the WATCH ABC Player for iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Kindle Fire, Hulu and iTunes. The episodes will be live through June 2, 2013.
