The ESPN Films documentary I Scored a Goal will premiere Saturday, July 3, at 5 p.m. ET on ABC during the ESPN Sports Saturday programming block. The one-hour program represents one of ESPN’s most ambitious initiatives surrounding the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. The documentary features interviews with most of the 34 living men who have scored a goal in the title match of the FIFA World Cup, dating back to the first tournament in 1930. Among those interviewed are Uruguay’s Alcides Ghiggia (1950), Brazil’s Pele (1958 and 1970) and Ronaldo (2002), Germany’s Gerd Müller (1974) and Rudi Völler (1986), Holland’s Dick Nanninga (1978), and Argentina’s Mario Kempes (1978, now an analyst for ESPN Deportes and ESPN International), all of whom represent countries still competing in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
On Sunday, the Lutz family of East Setauket, New York thought they had simply been invited to attend an afternoon baseball game between the Yankees and the New York Mets. The series begins with 19 of the most unforgettable characters from seasons past living together in the “Bachelor Pad” mansion. Each week they’ll square off in head-to-head challenges to compete for immunity and the opportunity to go on a date with contestants of their choice. The winner of the challenge will then grant immunity to one of his or her dates via the presentation of a rose. At the end of each episode, the contestants will vote amongst themselves to determine which cast members will be eliminated from the competition.

The new drama series from Jerry Bruckheimer Television will air Wednesdays from 10:00-11:00 p.m., ET this fall on ABC. In the end, Ali selects one lucky bachelor, who also will be featured with her in that night’s performance of The Lion King in front of a packed house.
Former “The Bachelor” and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Melissa Rycroft gets set to co-host “Bachelor Pad,” the exciting new competitive reality series from the producers of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” Rycroft will host alongside Chris Harrison (“The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette”) when the series premieres Monday, August 9 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.
