Fans of the hit ABC shows – Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, Scrubs and Schoolhouse Rock along with Legend of the Seeker (from ABC Studios) – can unleash their creativity to design custom apparel and gifts by following the official guidelines. Fans can visit CafePress.com to create products and purchase merchandise designed by other fans fully encompassing fan engagement within this merchandise platform. In addition, CafePress will be launching a shop featuring official Schoolhouse Rock merchandise.
This past Thursday, actress, comedienne and co-host of ABC’s The View, Whoopi Goldberg took the stage at the Minkskoff Theatre to perform in Disney’s The Liong Kingfor one night only.
The night’s special performance was introduced by Disney Theatrical president and producer Thomas Schumacher who first talked about how there have been over 10,000 shows produced in Broadway’s history and that out of those, only eight have gone on to host more than 5,000 performances and that The Lion King had just become number nine (which it did back in November). After noting that director Julie Taymor was also in the audience for the evening’s performance, Schumacher then went on to explain that the performance was being taped for The View and outlined the three cameos Goldberg would be appearing in throughout the show.

Published at the end of September 2009, HEAT WAVE has spent 14 weeks on the New York Times Hardcover bestsellers list, currently holding the #32 position for Sunday, January 17, 2010. ABC has recently announced that FlashForward, which was set to finish off its first season on March 4, has now been pushed back to March 18.
On his blog, FlashForward author Robert Sawyer says the move was made to avoid competing with American Idol as well as allowing the release of Volume One of the series on DVD time to attract a larger audience.
To compensate for the loss of two weeks caused by the delay, both the March 18 episode and the season finale will be two hours long.
No, this isn’t one of those reports talking about the online petition going around to coerce Disney Parks into transforming Tom Sawyer’s Island into a LOST attraction. This is a report on a report from Movie|Line which claims to have a source that reveals that there is in fact an attraction based on the popular ABC series in the works at Walt Disney Imagineering. Along with the disclaimer that everything is subject to change, the report goes as far as to say that Imagineering ‘insiders’ had been caught talking about the project at the International Associations of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAPPA) show in Las Vegas.
In conjunction with the premiere of “The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love,” ABC.com will launch an all-new interactive Rose Ceremony Game enabling fans of the show to put their matchmaking skills to the test. Viewers can go online each week and make their picks of which bachelorettes will receive a rose from bachelor Jake Pavelka.
Players will earn points for their correct picks and by correctly answering trivia questions about the previous week’s episode. Bonus points will also be awarded to players who correctly predict which bachelorette will get the first rose of the evening, and also if they correctly predict the order in which the roses are handed out.
LIVE! with Regis and Kelly has announced its annual Beautiful Baby Search contest. Teaming up with Gerber, ten semi-finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges to appear on the show on or about the week of March 1, 2010. From there, one grand prize winner will receive $125,000 to be applied towards a college education and the cover of a future Parenting magazine issue. Four runners up will each receive $25,000 to be applied towards college and all ten semi-finalists will each recieve a year’s worth of Gerber’s Start Healthy, Stay Healthy food vouchers including a personalized nutrition plan.
ABC’s Emmy Award winning daytime drama, “All My Children” will celebrate its 40th Anniversary on January 5, 2010. In celebration of this milestone, the show will welcome the return of Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and Eva La Rue in two special episodes airing on MONDAY, JANUARY 4 and TUESDAY, JANUARY 5.
