In honor of the release of the first teaser trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015), Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios have provided us with the first teaser poster for the film in high resolution.
Teasing a special announcement at the end of tonight’s episode of ‘Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD,’ Marvel today announced that it will finally be releasing the trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron during next week’s television episode. The trailer has previously only been shown to attendees of the Hall H panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and to a small room at the Marvel Unlimited Plus members-only event at New York Comic-Con.
At the Marvel Unlimited Plus members-only event held earlier this morning at the New York Comic-Con, Marvel shared exclusive first looks at upcoming films Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as the debut of the trailer.
In the Ant-Man scene, we hear the voice of Hank Pym as he introduced himself to a tiny armored Scott Lang as Ant-Man running through the streets. Pym introduces Lang to a relatively large fly that Pym is able to call on to take him where he needs to go.
Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
Following its presentation at San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H, Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios have provided us with new title treatments and concept art for several of their upcoming projects including: Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (April 4, 2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (August 1, 2014) and Avengers 2: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015).
