At the Big Hero 6 (November 7, 2014) booth from Disney Consumer Products at San Diego Comic-Con, attendees are able to preview much of the upcoming toy line from Bandai that will be available at mass market retailers beginning in September. Among the items, however, are also a sneak peek at upcoming Vinylmation figures based on the titular characters from the film, to be available exclusively at Disney Store.

SDCC: ‘Big Hero 6′ Exclusive Merchandise Hands-on Review, Merchandise Preview

First Edition Baymax Figure - SDCC Exclusive With just under one week to go before San Diego Comic-Con, Disney Consumer Products has shared with us some of the upcoming merchandise for Big Hero 6 (November 7, 2014) that attendees can find previewed at the film’s booth (#3635A). In addition we have been provided with our very own SDCC exclusive 6″ metallic Baymax action figure along with a t-shirt from Mad Engine and a baseball cap from Concept One.

Exclusive to SDCC is the 6″ tall Fist Edition Baymax with punching action which will sell for $30. He’ll be available for purchase at the Big Hero 6 booth each day from Thursday through Sunday in limited quantities. Tickets required to purchase Baymax will be distributed at the booth each morning while supplies last.

Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios have provided us with super high resolution images of the newly revealed cast of Big Hero 6, in theaters on November 7, 2014. We were so excited, that we opted not to reduce the size of the images as we typically would, so they are presented in our gallery below in their glorious 15MP+ original resolution. ‘Let It Go: The Complete Set’ with Fifty International Versions Available Next Week

'Let It Go: The Complete Set' from Walt Disney RecordsWith what is undoubtedly an unprecedented move, Walt Disney Records is further capitalizing on the success of Disney Animation’s Frozen and its ‘Let It Go’ theme by releasing a ‘three disc set’ featuring fifty tracks consisting of official, international versions of the song, often in both film and end title formats, titled Let It Go: The Complete Set.

No official announcement from Walt Disney Records has been made yet, but he album showed up on Amazon last night as an MP3 album with a release date of April 15, 2014.

VIDEO/PHOTOS: ‘Frozen’ Crew Visits Frozen-Themed Suite at Hotel de Glace

In honor of today’s Blu-ray release of Frozen (with a still unconfirmed release of the 3D Blu-ray in October), Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and Disney Movies Anywhere released this featurette focusing on co-directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho, art director Michael Giaimo and others as they explore the Frozen suite at the Hotel de Glace in Quebec City, Canada. Long before the creation of the suite, however, the hotel itself was crucial to the animation process for Frozen as it served as reference material for the way light was reflected against the ice creations.

‘Frozen’ Poster by Tom Whalen to be Released by Mondo on March 18

'Frozen' by Tom WhalenAs part of its annual tribute to Oscar winners (and sometimes nominees), Mondo has announced it will be releasing its poster for Frozen by artist Tom Whalen at a random time tomorrow, March 18, 2014 (usually between 10 am – 12 pm ET, but never guaranteed). Those interested in attempting to grab a copy are advised to follow @MondoNews on Twitter for the on-sale announcement.

Known to sell out in mere seconds, the Mondo poster series entry for Frozen is limited to an edition size of just 440 pieces. It measures 24″ x 36″ and will retail for $50. For those that miss the opportunity tomorrow, there are no  guarantees, but Whalen sometimes sells artist proof variants at his online store at a later date.

Disney’s ‘Frozen’ 3D Blu-Ray in October, Potentially with More Bonus Features

FROZEN Box ArtWalt Disney Studios Home Entertainment’s confirmation of nothing to announce for the 3D Blu-ray edition of Disney’s Frozen has made fans feel as though they were left out in the cold, with many resorting to order the 3D edition from overseas, amidst fears of ‘double-dipping.’ Although there has been no official announcement, marketing materials obtained by Stitch Kingdom have indeed confirmed plans for an October 2014 release of the 3D Blu-ray/DVD release of Frozen.
