Video: ‘The Bachelorette’ Ali and Roberto Talk Bentley, Public Pressures
Following an emotional update from last season’s ‘The Bachelor’ winner Emily Maynard who discussed the break-up with second-chancer Brad Womack, host Chris Harrison sat down with former ‘The Bachelorette’ Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez to catch up with the couple and get an update on their relationship.
The video interview, just released by ABC, shows the couple still happily together as they discuss their thoughts on the Ashley Hebert’s season and Bentley, with Ali drawing parallels between Ashley’s experiences and her own, although hers yielding very different results. The couple also talks about the pressures felt by the public and rumor mongering, following the Maynard-Womack update, with Ali citing an example of not being married by when it was expected to occur and the assumptions made by the public when its expectations aren’t met.
The interview is in two parts, presented below:

Ali Fedotowsky Returns to ‘The Bachelor’ January 10 (Spoilers)
On next week’s (January 10) episode of ABC’s ‘The Bachelor,’ the 20 remaining bachelorettes move into their luxurious Malibu mansion and the fairy tale begins. Two lucky women will get fabulous one-on-one dates: Brad escorts one bachelorette on a fantasy date which culminates at the Hollywood Bowl, where they will be serenaded by the chartbusting band Train. The other individual date finds Brad and another stunning woman on an incredibly romantic date to a private carnival. The group date will give 15 women a chance show Brad another side of their personality as they shoot public service announcements (PSA) for the American Red Cross, but it turns into a steamy face-off between some of the ladies. However, some of the bachelorettes will not have a date at all before the next rose ceremony, encouraging them to aggressively steal any time they can with Brad.
Brad whisks away Ashley H., his stunning date for the evening, to a deserted dirt road leading to a mysterious dark wooded area. A large electrical switch appears out of nowhere and, once the couple flip it on, a magical private carnival lights up. They excitedly run through the maze of games and rides like two kids. The date takes a more intimate turn when Ashley H. tells Brad about her estranged relationship with her father. Encouraged by the woman’s openness, Brad shares his own painful story of his absentee father. Their connection is palpable. One last ride on the Ferris wheel turns into a passionate first kiss of the season.
The next day the first group date of the season features Brad and 15 excited, gorgeous women. Michelle is already annoyed that she has to share Brad with 14 other women on what will be her 30th birthday. Brad reveals that they will be filming PSAs to remind people about the importance of donating blood through the American Red Cross and encouraging the country to participate in January’s National Blood Donor Month. However jealousy rears its ugly head when Brad kisses several of the ladies. In fact, Melissa annoys the others when she rudely interrupts the filming to steal a kiss with the handsome Bachelor. But when Brad shoots a particularly provocative scene with two sexy bachelorettes, Michelle loses her cool and storms out. The drama increases at a rooftop pool after-party. Can these emotional women control themselves in order to get a rose from Brad?
Jackie is chosen for a fantasy date that is the envy of the other women. Brad surprises her at a luxurious Beverly Hills hotel with an incredible array of gowns, shoes and jewels for her to choose from. Later the couple shares an intimate dinner at the Hollywood Bowl, which is followed by a private concert by the hit band Train. Romance seems to be in the air… But when Jackie reveals a troubling relationship history, will Brad decide to give her a rose?
At the stressful and dramatic cocktail party, the drama erupts again as two women face off in a verbal battle for the ages. Brad attempts to comfort each woman in the middle of the snarling catfight, but then Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez arrive to help him get to the bottom of the situation and to find out who is there for the right reasons. The engaged couple single out one woman to whom Brad offers a rose to before the ceremony. At the end of the night, only 17 women will remain in the chase for Brad’s heart.

Sneak Peek: ‘The Bachelorette’ Hits the Broadway Stage with Disney’s ‘The Lion King’
On next week’s episode of ABC’s ‘The Bachelorette,’ the Big Apple rolls out the red carpet, as the remaining 11 men begin an exciting trip around the world to capture Ali’s heart. The Bachelorette arrives in New York City before the men to participate in a fun, fabulous make-over and photo shoot for InStyle.
Seven enthusiastic bachelors visit Broadway’s long-running, landmark musical, The Lion King. The show’s producer, Thomas Schumacher, surprises the men when he tells them that they will audition on the stage for alone time with Ali. A good-natured, but intense competition ensues among the men, who attempt to sing and dance their way into Ali’s heart. In the end, Ali selects one lucky bachelor, who also will be featured with her in that night’s performance of The Lion King in front of a packed house.
ABC has released this sneak peek of the episode featuring the bachelors as they audition for the prized role in the night’s performance. Mercifully, the segment ends just before the singing portion begins.

ABC Reveals List of Suitors for ‘The Bachelorette’s’ Ali Fedotowsky
What do a handsome entertainment wrestler with an impressive alter ego, a weatherman from Texas who forecasts sunny skies ahead for the Bachelorette and himself, an aspiring screenwriter attempting to script the perfect Hollywood ending, a self-declared ladies’ man and a sensitive but strong-willed landscaper all have in common? They’re all on the hunt for the new Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky, when the sixth edition of the female version of ABC’s popular romance reality series, “The Bachelorette,” premieres MONDAY, MAY 24 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Ali, 25, who most recently was an account manager in on-line advertising from San Francisco, meets 25 potential soul mates as she begins her own search for true love. In the premiere, “Episode 601,” 25 eligible men come from all over to try and win her heart. Kyle, the outdoorsman, tries to reel Ali in right from the start. Jason, a hunky skier, impresses the Bachelorette with a death-defying back flip off the limo, and John C. attempts to take all the other men out of the picture as he gets down on one knee and proposes.
Once inside, Ali lives every woman’s dream– surrounded by 25 handsome men – all there just for her. As the biggest night of her life begins, so does the competition between the men. Frank, an aspiring writer, shares his inspiring story of how he left his high-paying career to move to Paris and follow his dream. Kirk scores points with a sentimental scrapbook he presents to Ali. But Hunter, a clever Texan, steals the show with a heart-felt hilarious song, accompanying himself on the ukulele.
Tensions mount and sparks fly as the bachelors vie for the first impression rose. Roberto, a romantic Latin bachelor, takes a moment to steal Ali away and teach her some sexy salsa steps. Justin doesn’t let a broken foot get in his way, as he rips his shirt open to reveal his professional wrestling alter ego. And Jesse offers a beautiful wooden heart necklace as an original token of his admiration. Finally, Ali must eliminate eight of the 25 men, leaving 17 to compete for her affections and, in the end, her heart.
