Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released a new clip from its upcoming film from DisneyToon Studios, The Pirate Fairy, available to own on April 1, 2014 (pre-order). The new clip, which you can find embedded below, features the film’s theme song, ‘Who I Am’ as performed by pop singer Natasha Bedingfield. The film also features Bedingfield’s ‘Weightless (Less Is More Version),’ which had been used in the scratch recording of the film and was enjoyed so much by the filmmakers, director Peggy Holmes opted to make it permanent.
Walt Disney Animation Studios has provided us with a high resolution version of the theatrical poster for the Sing-A-Long edition of its smash success, Frozen. In addition, the ‘Let It Go’ sequence was also released today in sing-a-long mode which features the bouncing snowflake that will guide viewers along through the musical numbers. The Frozen Sing-A-Long edition will be in over 1,000 theaters nationally beginning January 31, 2014. Because the regular edition continues to sell out shows, it is highly recommended that tickets be purchased in advance. You can visit Fandango to view local theaters and showtimes as well as purchase tickets.

Earlier today, at the media preview event at Nuremberg Toy Fair, the world got its first look at Chopper, Disney Channel and Lucasfilm revealed the first look at a brand new character from their upcoming animated series, ‘Star Wars Rebels,’ a droid named Chopper /aka/ the C1-10P. Disney has graciously provided us with images and behind-the-scenes featurette of Chopper, which you can find embedded below.
Potentially adding insult to injury — after confirming no foreseeable plans for a 3D Blu-ray domestic release — it turns out that the total length of the bonus features for the March 18, 2014 Blu-ray release of Frozen (pre-order) sum up to less than 40 minutes — and that includes four music videos.
We now have the running times for each of the bonus features, as per the British Board of Film Classification and aside from confirming that there appears to be no audio commentary, it also appears that some of the behind-the-scenes ‘documentary’ type material comes up short. Disney Channel has announced that the week of February 3, it will be launching a new short-form series based on its popular ‘Gravity Falls’ cartoon, titled ‘Mabel’s Guide to Life.’ A new episode is set to premiere each night, February 3 – 7, at 7:55 pm ET/PT. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced that the Disney Junior television special, ‘Sofia the First: The Floating Palace’ which features an appearance by Ariel, will be available to own on Disney DVD on April 8, 2014.

Serving as part of Walt Disney Animation Studio’s research, particularly for the lighting, of Disney’s Frozen, Quebec City’s famed Hôtel de Glace — or Ice Hotel — has revealed the first look at its exclusive, limited Frozen-inspired suite.
Created entirely out of sculpted ice and snow and supervised by the film’s art director Michael Giaimo, the Frozen Suite is modeled after Anna & Elsa’s bedrooms. The collaboration will also include a ‘Frozen Activity Cave’ bringing the wonder of Disney’s wintry tale to life like never before. The suite will be open this weekend and remain open through March 23.
