Walmart has announced its exclusive for the blu-ray release of Big Hero 6, a bonus DVD titled ‘The Science of Big Hero 6: Explore Baymax and Hiro’s High-Tech World!’ The exclusive gift pack will be released on February 24, 2015 and is currently available for pre-order.
In what seems like a page taken from ‘Animaniacs’ (right down to a vague ‘Turkey in the Straw’ melody), Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released a new lyric video titled ‘Tink’n About Animals,’ in support of the upcoming Pixie Hollow film, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (March 3, 2015), which is now available for pre-order. The song features Fawn instructing her fellow fairies on some of the more peculiar choices for what groups of certain species are called — of course here, a group of crows is a hover — not a murder.
Pixar Animation Studios has already introduced us to Riley, the protagonist of its upcoming film Inside Out (June 19, 2015), as well as her driving emotions — Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness, but there is one other key player that has yet to be formally introduced — that of Bing Bong, Riley’s imaginary friend.
While not widespread, Bing Bong himself isn’t entirely news. Reportedly CinemaBlend first reported on him but it appears his mentions were removed from the article, although MoviePilot had graciously quoted the entire spoilery review of the film’s first five minutes. Most recently, a Reddit post abut a week ago apparently had a photo of Bing Bong in toy form from toy manufacturer TOMY, but that image also has since been removed — though you can still see the photo here.
Walmart has announced its exclusive for the upcoming Pixie Hollow film, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (March 3, 2015), will be a bonus DVD titled ‘Make Music with Bleu.’ Bleu wrote two songs for the film: ‘Float,’ which is performed by KT Tunstall; and ‘1000 Years,’ which is performed by both Tunstall and Bleu.
Walt Disney Studios New Zealand has released a clip from the upcoming Pixie Hollow film, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (March 3, 2015), which is now available for pre-order. Titled ‘Sneaking Through Animal Grounds,’ the clip features Fawn and Tinker Bell successfully engaging in a conspicuous plan to make a special delivery — at least until help comes along to spoil it.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released an extended six minute clip from the upcoming Pixie Hollow film, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (March 3, 2015), which is now available for pre-order. The clip features Fawn introducing Gruff to her friends and an encounter with Scout Fairy Nyx who shares her own recent discovery with Fawn and Queen Clarion.
In addition, Disney Store has started selling several new items for the film.
Lucasfilm has released a couple of clips from its upcoming episode of ‘Star Wars Rebels,’ titled ‘Path of the Jedi.’ The first clip is titled ‘Yoda’s Guidance’ and features Kanan telepathically (?) receiving a message from Master Yoda — whom Kanan believed to have been long deceased — voiced in the January 5 episode by the legendary Frank Oz, who, of course, originated the role of Yoda.
The second clip, titled ‘Nothing and Everything’ has Kanan setting Ezra on a quest, which is probably what is hinted at by the episode’s official synopsis: ‘Ezra must face a great challenge as part of his growth as a member of the team.’
Strange Magic, a new animated film from Lucasfilm Ltd., is a madcap fairy tale musical inspired by ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ Popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion. Lucasfilm Animation Singapore and Industrial Light & Magic bring to life the fanciful forest turned upside down with world-class animation and visual effects. Directed by Gary Rydstrom from a story by George Lucas, Strange Magic will be released by Touchstone Pictures on January 23, 2015.
