Emily surprises Arie with a flight to Dollywood for a special day on which the park is open only to them, and in a total shocker to Emily, her idol, country music legend Dolly Parton, gives the couple a private concert. But it all ends at a dramatic cocktail party when some of the men come clean about whether they’re ready to step up and be a stepfather, which sends shock waves through the group — and Emily decides to do something about it — on “The Bachelorette,” Monday, May 28 at 8:00 pm ET on the ABC Television Network.

It’s revealed to Chris that he has to work for his romantic dinner with Emily overlooking the downtown skyline of Charlotte… by joining her in scaling a building! The climb will be filled with a lot of nature’s special effects – thunder and lightning. Will Chris be able to help Emily overcome her fears and lead her to the top? The evening culminates with a special performance by country music star Luke Bryan. But will Emily surprise Chris one more time with a rose?

The next day Emily accompanies 12 bachelors to a local park where they’re introduced to her best friends. The women come prepared to interrogate the bachelors and tell Emily who they think will be best for her and Ricki. After the inquisition, the men’s fathering skills are further tested when Emily reveals a group of rambunctious children streaming into the park who are all ready to play ball, hop on swings and chase the guys around, all under the Bachelorette’s watchful eye. At the after party that night, the competition revs up as the men battle for the rose. Meanwhile, one bachelor breaks down because he misses his son. Will he be able to continue his pursuit of the Bachelorette or will he succumb to his loneliness?

Emily surprises an ecstatic Arie with the last individual date of the week, which begins with a private jet to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where she reveals that they’ll spend the day at Dollywood, one of her favorite places. The couple have the park all to themselves to ride all the rides, play games and have a ball. But even Emily, who went to the park many times growing up, can’t guess what is coming. She gets the surprise of her life when her idol, the legendary Queen of Country Dolly Parton, serenades the two of them. After the special concert, things get steamy as they enjoy a romantic dinner and share one of the most intense first kisses any couple has shared in “Bachelorette” history. Is this the start of something special or is it too good to be true?

The cocktail party provides the backdrop for a bombshell disclosure, as Emily discovers who is ready to be a father and who isn’t. A distraught Bachelorette makes her feelings clearly known. When one of the men tries to comfort her with a kiss, another bachelor is outraged. It’s a rough night, and only 13 men will remain at the end of it to leave Charlotte and move on to the first stop in their world wind tour, Bermuda.

The 16 remaining men are:
Alessandro, 30, a grain merchant from St. Paul, MN
Alejandro, 24, a mushroom farmer from San Francisco, CA
Arie, 30, a race car driver from Scottsdale, AZ
Charlie, 32, a recruiter from Nashville, TN
Chris, 25, a corporate sales director from Chicago, IL
Doug, 33, a charity director/realtor from Seattle, WA

Mike Fleiss and Martin Hilton are executive producers. “The Bachelorette” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with stereo sound. VIDEO: ‘Bachelorette’ Castoffs Revealed Early by ABC (Non-Spoiler Version)

On tonight’s edition of ‘The Bachelorette,’ Emily Maynard will experience her first one on one date, featuring a performance by Gloriana, the first group date featuring an appearance by The Muppets’ Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, a second one-on-one, fighting contestants and — oh yes — the Rose Ceremony.

What will start as 19 eligible bachelor contestants will end with 16 remaining as three are sent packing. But who won’t be receiving a coveted rose this evening? Normally you’d have to wait until the show airs to find out, but today ABC inadvertently leaked the results, which you can see below (until it is removed by ABC, anyway):

SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW THE OUTCOME

The culprit is the weekly video segment, ‘Diaries of the Departed,’ in which ‘The Bachelorette’ gives the castoffs the opportunity to explain their reactions more in-depth. These videos are usually published at midnight PT after the show airs, but an apparent itchy trigger finger ended up releasing the video a day early, exposing the episode’s final results.

‘Bachelorette’ to Feature Muppets, Gloriana and Emily’s Daughter, Ricki (Minor Spoilers)

This is no ordinary Bachelorette, as the 19 remaining men find out when they are “tested” from the start about how they might fit into Emily’s world as a dad, as well as working at a charity event that is near and dear to her heart. Now ensconced in the sprawling 12,000-square foot mansion in Emily’s hometown of Charlotte, the men quickly learn that roses will be at stake on the one group date and on two individual dates. However, the competition is revved up when they learn that not all the men will get dates before the next rose ceremony, so the bachelors must take advantage of every opportunity to score points with the Bachelorette. A special concert by hit country music trio Gloriana and a charming, scene-stealing romp with the acclaimed Muppets, featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy, at the charity event are real delights. But after careful deliberation, Emily must eliminate three men, as she starts to try and make her fairytale come true, on “The Bachelorette,” Monday, May 21st at 9:01 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

Ryan is ecstatic when he finds out that he gets the first date of the season. After a quick visit with her girlfriends, Emily arrives at the mansion to take Ryan away for what he thinks will be a glamorous day of fun. But Emily has other plans, as she takes him to her home and instructs him in the everyday task of baking cookies for Ricki’s soccer team. Will he pass the “test”? Later that night, Emily looks stunning as she scoops Ryan up in a sleek Aston Martin and brings him to a romantic dinner spot. After walking a red carpet lined with adoring fans, Emily and Ryan have a secluded fireside table where they discuss relationships and their potential future over dinner. Then things turn intimate even though the couple are the in middle of a crowd, as they are serenaded in a special concert by popular country band Gloriana, featuring their hit single “(Kissed You) Good Night.” But is there enough romance for Ryan to get the rose?

The next day, 13 bachelors take to the stage and join Emily and the beloved Muppets for a live performance benefiting The Ricky Hendrick Centers for Intensive Care at The Levine Children’s Hospital. The men split up in groups to rehearse, but one man has a serious case of performance panic. He explains the problem to Emily and musters up enough courage to go on, but how will he feel when Miss Piggy targets him during the show? The men also get a pleasant surprise when they see Ricki for the first time as she joins her mother and The Muppets in a special performance. That evening at the swank after party, the competition for Emily’s attention heats up: Chris is all smiles as the Bachelorette gushes over his looks; Stevie treats her to a slow dance but gets interrupted by the overconfident Kalon; and Jef finally starts to open up to Emily, but will she find him too guarded?

The next day is a dream come true for Joe, as Emily meets him at a private jet and they’re off to West Virginia to the exquisite Greenbriar resort, which holds many childhood memories for the Bachelorette, who spent time there with her family. The scene is set for the two to have an extravagant dinner in a grand ballroom. They recite their individual dreams for the future in front of the famous “love clock,” but is Joe ready for life with a single mom and her daughter?

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, a poolside fight breaks out between Doug and Kalon. They almost come to blows when Doug’s fathering practices are questioned.

The following night at home, Ricki helps Emily as she gets dressed for her next rose ceremony. Arriving at the mansion, everyone wants the Bachelorette’s time at the cocktail party, particularly those men who didn’t get a date. Arie reveals to Emily that he once dated a woman with two children. Ryan, even though he already has had an individual date, monopolizes her time, as another man is dying to tell her that he has a son.

At the end of the night after a dramatic rose ceremony, 16 men remain to battle for Emily’s heart.

The 19 remaining men are:
Aaron, 36, a biology teacher from Long Beach, CA
Alessandro, 30, a grain merchant from St. Paul, MN
Alejandro, 24, a mushroom farmer from San Francisco, CA
Arie, 30, a race car driver from Scottsdale, AZ
Charlie, 32, a recruiter from Nashville, TN
Chris, 25, a corporate sales director from Chicago, IL
Doug, 33, a charity director/realtor from Seattle, WA
Jef, 27, an entrepreneur from Salt Lake City, UT
Joe, 27, a field energy advisor from Los Angeles, CA
John “Wolf,” 30, a data destruction specialist from St. Louis, MO
Kalon, 27, a luxury brand consultant from Houston, TX
Kyle, 29, a financial advisor from Long Beach, CA
Michael, 26, a rehab counselor from Austin, TX
Nate, 26, an accountant from Los Angeles, CA
Ryan, 31, a pro sports trainer from Augusta, GA
Sean, 28, an insurance agent from Dallas, TX
Stevie, 26, a party MC from Monroe Township, NJ
Tony, 31, a lumber trader from Beaverton, OR
Travis, 30, an advertising sales representative from Madison, MS

Hosted by Chris Harrison, “The Bachelorette” is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss and Martin Hilton are executive producers. “The Bachelorette” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with stereo sound. This program carries a TV-PG,L parental guideline.

ABC Announces Summer 2012 Schedule Featuring Return of Reality Favorites and New Series

The following is a list of the upcoming summer programming in chronological order (all times ET):

THE BACHELORETTE – PREMIERES MONDAY, MAY 14 (9:30-11:00 p.m.)
Emily Maynard, the beautiful, sweet, young mom who captured America’s and Brad Womack’s heart on the 15th season of “The Bachelor,” finally thought she had her happy ending. She accepted Brad’s proposal but unfortunately their relationship ended, along with her dream of moving to Austin with her daughter, Ricki, and starting a family. But Emily, 26, is ready for her luck to change and to bring her the love she so richly deserves. It’s hard to meet men as a single mom, but Emily will have her pick of 25 bachelors when she gets a second opportunity to find love starring in the eighth edition of “The Bachelorette.” Instantly popular with “Bachelor” fans, Emily’s strength, passion and southern charm – as a mother and as a woman – would make anyone happy to make her his wife. She feels incredibly grateful to have found her first love when she was very young, although her fiancŽ, famed NASCAR driver and team owner Ricky Hendrick, tragically died in a plane crash. She then discovered she was pregnant with their child, the apple of her eye – Ricki.  Despite not having dated a lot, Emily knows what it’s like to be truly in love. In the past seven years, she has been looking for someone with the same spark she has for life, and she believes that she will find her soul mate on “The Bachelorette.” Chris Harrison is the host. “The Bachelorette” is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss and Martin Hilton are executive producers.
DUETS – PREMIERES THURSDAY, MAY 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m.)
“Duets” is a one-of-a-kind singing competition that takes the Superstars out from behind the judges’ panel and onto the stage. Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, Lionel Richie and Robin Thicke set out on individual journeys across America looking for undiscovered talent worthy of being their proteges. Ultimately, each Superstar will choose two singers for their duet partners, and together the Superstars and their proteges will take the stage each week and perform in front of a live studio audience. In the end, only one duet will be at the top of the charts, and the winning amateur will receive a recording contract with Hollywood Records. “Duets” is a production of Keep Calm and Carry On Productions. Emmy winner Robert Deaton (“The CMA Awards”) is executive producer. Emmy winner Charles Wachter (“Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution”) is co-executive producer.
ROOKIE BLUE – PREMIERES THURSDAY, MAY 24 (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
A group of young and ambitious rookie cops continue to navigate the emotional trials and tribulations of their professional and personal lives. After two years on the job, these rookies are well on their way to becoming experienced cops, but at what cost? What price will they have to pay, both professionally and personally, to succeed at their job? And how can they stay true to themselves – maintaining their individuality and compassion — along the way? While a new rookie — ex-soldier Nick Collins, who is trying to adapt to policing after serving in Afghanistan — has joined 15 Division, the rest of the rookies are now entering their third year on the job. They have overcome the sophomore curse — that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. However this year the rookies of 15 Division are going to learn to be careful what they wish for – and they’re going to learn it the hard way. Emmy Award winner William Shatner (“Boston Legal”) guest stars on the premiere as Henry McLeod, a belligerent drunk driver with a haunting secret. “Rookie Blue” stars Missy Peregrym as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma as Traci Nash, Travis Milne as Chris Diaz, Peter Mooney as Nick Collins and Ben Bass as Sam Swarek. Also starring in the series is Melanie Nicholls-King as Noelle Williams, Matt Gordon as Oliver Shaw, Noam Jenkins as Detective Jerry Barber and Lyric Bent as Frank Best. Tassie Cameron, Ilana Frank, David Wellington, Noreen Halpern and John Morayniss are executive producers. “Rookie Blue” is produced by ICF Films Inc. and Entertainment One.
SECRET MILLIONAIRE – PREMIERES SUNDAY, JUNE 3 (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
“Secret Millionaire” follows 13 of America’s most successful business people as they spend a week in the country’s poorest areas and ultimately gift deserving members of the community with hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money. Originally based on the hit UK series of the same name, each episode follows one of America’s most successful business people for one week as they leave behind their lavish lifestyles, sprawling mansions and luxury jets, conceal their true identities, and go to live and volunteer in some of the most impoverished and dangerous neighborhoods in the country. Surviving on welfare wages, their mission is to discover the most deserving individuals who continually sacrifice everything to help those in need, and ultimately encourage others to do the same. Throughout this incredible, life-changing experience, the Secret Millionaires will attempt to remain undiscovered, coming face to face with extraordinary people battling the odds every day of their lives. On the final day, in an emotional and dramatic climax, they reveal their true identities. Ultimately, the millionaires will each give away a great deal of their own money, changing lives forever and encouraging others to keep giving back. “Secret Millionaire” is executive-produced by Claire O’Donohoe, Grant Mansfield, Natalka Znak and Leslie Garvin. Paul Osborne is co-executive producer. The series is a Zodiak USA Production.
EXTREME MAKEOVER: WEIGHT LOSS EDITION – PREMIERES SUNDAY, JUNE 3 (9:00-11:00 p.m.)
The hit series returns for Season 2 as transformational specialist and bestselling author Chris Powell documents the amazing makeover of eight courageous, “super obese” people who, in an unprecedented 365 days, set out to safely lose half of their body weight, ultimately revealing an amazing metamorphosis. In each of the eight stand-alone, two-hour episodes, the participants, whose ages range from 19 to 50 years, undergo a transformation not only of their bodies, but of who they are as individuals. By assuring that the participants have the proper nourishment and exercise movement, Powell provides a fresh perspective to individuals whose lives have become unmanageable because of their weight. He guides each of the eight participants through their transformation process by moving into their homes with their families or loved ones. The upcoming season is filled with remarkable and eye-opening changes, including one participant who loses 50% of his body weight, despite being homeless for most of the year. Another loses a staggering 142 pounds in the first 90 days, while still another will lose a grand total of 281 pounds over the year. In a show of support, one participant’s family challenge themselves to lose 500 pounds together. In 2012 Chris Powell became a bestselling author when his Hyperion book, Choose to Lose, hit No. 2 on the New York Times Bestseller List. From the producers of “The Biggest Loser” and “MasterChef,” “Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition” is executive-produced by JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson and Matt Assmus. The series is produced by 3 Ball Productions/Eyeworks USA.

Other featured obstacles making their debut are The Hangover, Spin Psycho, The Comma-Kaze and Spinergy. There’ll also be many specials this summer, including a salute to our Armed Forces, Bring your Teacher to Wipeout Day, and an All-Star episode of winners and losers. On ‘The Bachelor: The Women Tell All,’ Ben F, Shawntel Confront All of the Bachelorettes (Minor Spoilers)

For the first time ever, one of the final two women who are vying for the Bachelor’s heart will make an appearance at “The Women Tell All.” Courtney, who has been the woman viewers and the other bachelorettes have loved to hate all season, will return to have her chance to defend herself. Will she apologize for her behavior? Will she fight back and be her fiery self, or will viewers see another, softer side of her? It’s an explosive reunion viewers won’t want to miss, as the most memorable bachelorettes from this season – including Kacie B., Nicki, Jenna, Blakeley, Samantha, Emily, Monica and Rachel — return to confront each other and Ben one last time on national television to dish the dirt and tell their side of the story. And Shawntel vents about how the women treated her when she returned to see Ben. A sneak peek at the Season Finale and the final two bachelorettes – Courtney and Lindzi – will also be featured, on “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All,” Monday, March 5 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

The sparks fly immediately when the women tear into Blakeley, accusing her of not being able to make friends with any of them. Blakeley tries to defend herself, but her guard goes up again because the women just won’t quit. Brittney attempts to explain how and why she took a backseat to all the drama in the house, but Samantha calls her out. And Brittney gives as good as she gets, as Samantha just can’t stop talking — even now.

Shawntel, the beautiful funeral director from Brad’s season, returns to step into the hot seat. Surprising the women again, she wanted them to know how bullied she felt when she came back to try and find a connection with Ben. Emily explains how she let her dislike for Courtney get in the way of finding love with the Bachelor. Having no idea how connected Ben was to Courtney, she minces no words on how she’ll lose respect for him if he is that taken with the sexy model. Nicki, the last woman to leave in tears, will confront Ben for the first time. She was relieved and excited to have those feelings for someone again after her divorce, but is worried she will go back into her shell. She had no clue that she was going home and couldn’t figure out what when wrong. Will she find out? Kacie B. was blindsided too, and flew to Switzerland to get some closure from Ben. She was still a little confused, but admits that, when you are rejected twice, it’s very clear.

But the women explode when Courtney makes an appearance. Is she really in love or is she just manipulating Ben? She tearfully defends herself, stressing that she was there for Ben like everyone else. What are her regrets? What would have she done differently? Many of the women aren’t buying what they still consider to be an act, but Jenna offers her an olive branch and a hug.

Once in the hot seat, Ben has his hands full as he is immediately confronted by tough questions from the women. Emily demands to know why he never gave her a reason for sending her home. Jennifer wants to know why he sent her home and kept Blakeley. Does he owe Casey S. an apology for the way her sent her home after her admission about a boyfriend she couldn’t get over? But Nicki still defends the Bachelor’s behavior, and Jamie makes him an offer for the future.

It’s the bachelorettes like you’ve never seen them before! The special also includes a sneak peek at the Season Finale and the final two bachelorettes — Courtney, the controversial vixen, and Lindzi, the lovable woman who received the “first impression” rose — who are competing for Ben’s heart and the final rose.

Hosted by Chris Harrison, “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss and Martin Hilton are the executive producers.

This episode of “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” will be available on ABC.com the day after airing on the network for users to watch online. For more information on “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” visit ABC.com.

On Next ‘Bachelor,’ Ben Gets Rejected, Haunted by Past and Makes Shocking Announcement (Spoilers)

Fireworks erupt when a woman from Ben’s past makes a sudden dramatic appearance at the cocktail party to let him know she has feelings for him and wants to be in the hunt for his heart. However, Ben starts the unforgettable week by sharing his wonderful city of San Francisco with the women. It begins with a nerve-shattering adrenaline date with Emily climbing to the top of the Bay Bridge, continues with a group date where 11 women ski down a snow-covered street and culminates with Ben’s intimate city tour with Lindzi and a special exclusive concert by Matt Nathanson. But the women continue to surprise, as one bachelorette rejects Ben’s offer of a one-on-one date. The tension is so high that one woman faints during the rose ceremony. But Ben shocks all the bachelorettes as he makes an unusual decision to end the night, on “The Bachelor,” Monday, January 16 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

Upon arriving in Ben’s beloved city by the bay, Ben meets his sister to give her the lowdown on some of the more intriguing women. While Ben’s 16 suitors explore their suite at the famed Fairmont Hotel, they learn from Chris Harrison that not everyone will get a date this week. But those lucky enough to get individual dates will either be receiving a rose or going home immediately. An excited Emily turns out to be the first fortunate lady. Her heart races even faster when she finds out that the date involves climbing 500 feet to the top of the Bay Bridge, scaling up the exterior beams. As the couple begins to ascend high over the water, the nervous bachelorette begins to shut down. How will she handle her two biggest fears – rejection and heights? Will she fall from grace and be sent home without a rose?

The next day, Ben surprises 11 of the women by taking them skiing for the day. They don’t realize that he has shut down a San Francisco street in the middle of the city and covered it with snow for their adventure. The ladies strip down to bikinis and hit the slope. The competition for Ben’s rose continues to be fierce at the after party, but one emotional bachelorette crashes the festivities to give Ben some very unexpected news. She declines the one-on-one date invitation he extended to her. The moment is a real gut-check for Ben and causes him to question everything.

For the final individual date, Ben takes a grateful and ecstatic Lindzi on a personal tour of his city. When the two stop at City Hall, they are treated to a private concert by platinum recording artist Matt Nathanson. Lindzi captured the first impression rose, but does her laid back style net her a second one?

But Ben is completely stunned when a very determined woman storms into the cocktail party and confesses her feelings for him. She pushes it even further, asking to stay for the rose ceremony. The other women strike back with a stinging verbal attack. One infuriated woman even threatens to leave if the newcomer gets a rose.

The anxiety is ratcheted up at the rose ceremony. One worried woman faints and one breaks down in tears. In the end, Ben pulls a shocker himself. Thirteen women remain to move to the next stop: Park City, Utah.

The 16 women are:
Blakeley, 34, VIP cocktail waitress, Charlotte, NC
Brittney, 26, medical sales rep, Denver, CO
Casey S., 26, trading clerk, Leawood, KS
Courtney, 28, model, Santa Monica, CA
Elyse, 24, personal trainer, Chicago, IL
Emily, 27, PhD student, Chapel Hill, NC
Erika, 23, law student, Chicago, IL
Jaclyn, 27, advertising account manager, Newton, MA
Jamie, 25, registered nurse, Dryden, NY
Jennifer, 28, accountant, Oklahoma City, OK
Kacie B., 24, administrative assistant, Clarksville, TN
