'Baymax' Trailer ScreencapWalt Disney Studios Japan has released a new trailer for Baymax (its title for Big Hero 6) and unsurprisingly, it plays up to the heavy emotional tone of the film, in particular the relationship between Hiro and older brother Tadashi. While it clocks in at about the same length as the second domestic trailer, a lot of the flashy titles were removed and replaced with the emotional cues as you can see in the screen grab shown here. Unfortunately the trailer also features a minor spoiler (although if you’ve kept up on the Disney Infinity news, you may already know).

Denizen: How Disney Populated San Fransokyo with Citizens … and Animators

'Big Hero 6' Baymax Teaser PosterTo create the city of San Franksokyo for Disney’s Big Hero 6 (November 7, 2014), Walt Disney Animation Studios introduced a lot of new technology to make it happen: importing real world data from San Francisco’s county assessor’s office; creating a new rendering system called Hyperion (also used for Feast) to handle how light is handled; and creating Denizen, a piece of software to populate San Fransokyo with citizens (and tourists).

Rather than have to design and animate thousands of locals individually, Walt Disney Animation Studios created Denizen, a proprietary system created that revolutionizes how artists create and animate crowds.
