When The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition debuts on Blu-ray on October 1, 2013, it will include a few new bonus features. In addition to Carly Rae Jepsen’s music video for ‘Part of Your World,’ the Blu-ray will also include ‘Howard’s Lecture,’ ‘Part of Her World: Jodi Benson’s Voyage To New Fantasyland,’ ‘The Real Little Mermaid: Live Action Reference Model,’ Disney Intermission support and a look at deleted character, Harold the Merman.
We have been provided with some additional details on the new bonus features that will support on the 50th Anniversary edition of Mary Poppins as it makes its Blu-ray debut on December 10, 2013 (now available for pre-order).
Mary-OKE will highlight popular music from the film, specifically ‘Spoon Full of Sugar,’ ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,’ ‘Step In Time,’ ‘Chim Chim Cher-ee’ and allows viewer to sing-along to animated words that display onscreen in unique ways.
Except that what will be in store hasn’t happened before — at least not like this. On December 10, 2013, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will release the beloved 1964 classic, Mary Poppins, on Blu-ray for the first time ever. That would place its release just a few days before Saving Mr. Banks opens in limited release on December 13 and on the same day its soundtrack, with music composed by Thomas Newman, is slated to be released.
