Production has begun in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on the music-driven “Lemonade Mouth,” a Disney Channel Original Movie that tells kids and tweens that building your confidence rocks and finding your destiny rules. The story follows five disparate high school students who meet in detention, realize they are destined to rock, and ultimately form a band that becomes a champion for students sidelined by the high school elite.
The movie was written by April Blair based on the book Lemonade Mouth by Mark Peter Hughes, and is directed by award-winning Patricia Riggen (“La Misma Luna” aka “Under the Same Moon”) and executive-produced by Debra Martin Chase (“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” Disney Channel’s “The Cheetah Girls” movies) and choreographed by Chris Scott. It is scheduled to premiere in 2011 on Disney Channel.
Starring are: Bridgit Mendler (Disney Channel’s “Good Luck Charlie”) as lead vocalist Olivia White, Adam Hicks (Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther”) as keyboardist Wen Giford, Hayley Kiyoko (Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place”) as electric guitarist Stella Yamada, Naomi Scott (Disney Channel UK’s “Life Bites”) as bass guitarist Mohini, Blake Michael (who was discovered during an open casting call conducted by Disney Channels Worldwide) as percussionist Charlie Delgado, Nick Roux as Scott Pickett, Chris Brochu as Ray Beach from rival band Mudslide Crush, Tisha Campbell-Martin (“My Wife and Kids”) as music teacher Miss Reznick and Christopher McDonald (“Family Law”) as Principal Brenigan.
The “Lemonade Mouth” pop music soundtrack will include nine original songs by songwriters Aris Archontis, Felicia Barton, Maria Christensen, Ali Dee, Andy Dodd, Tom Leonard, Jeannie Lurie, Niclas Molinder, Chen Neeman, Joacim Persson, Lindy Robbins, Shridhar Solanki, Matthew Tishler, Bryan Todd, Reed Vertelney and Adam Watts.
“Lemonade Mouth” is a production of GWAVE Productions, LLC.
Premiering on Sunday, April 4 at 8:30 PM ET/PT, Good Luck Charlie, the new family-oriented Disney Channel comedy, now has a website of its own which can be found at GOODLUCKCHARLIE.COM. The site currently offers games, photos from the series and introductory videos.
The comedy revolves around what happens when a new baby joins the Duncan household and roles shift for everyone in the family, including teen siblings PJ and Teddy and tween brother Gabe who must adjust to the many changes baby Charlie brings. Before they know it, she’s sitting up, crawling, walking and running — requiring them to team up and help their parents, Bob and Amy, look after the cute little newcomer. In each episode Teddy creates a personalized video diary for Charlie, an older sister telling her baby sister about all the things she’ll help her learn as she grows up.
In the premiere episode, “Study Date,” Amy is fretting as she returns to work as a nurse, but Bob reassures her that they have a support system to care for Charlie. That is until Teddy’s distracted by a study session with a cute classmate, PJ is trying to have a jam session with his friend and Gabe is feeling as if their territory has been invaded. When Bob slips and falls on the stairs, Charlie is put in the sole care of Teddy and PJ drives his dad to the hospital where they go to great lengths to avoid mom.
The talented “Good Luck Charlie” cast is: Bridgit Mendler (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) as Teddy, Jason Dolley (“Cory in the House”) as PJ, Bradley Steven Perry as Gabe, Leigh-Allyn Baker (“Will & Grace”) as Amy, Eric Allan Kramer (“My Name Is Earl”) as Bob, and newcomer Mia Talerico as Charlie.
A climactic, adventure-filled one-hour episode of the Emmy Award-winning comedy series “Wizards of Waverly Place” will premiere FRIDAY, JANUARY 22 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. DisneyChannel.com will present a “creature creator” application that invites users to upload and morph their own photo into the assorted otherworldly characters seen in the episode — a wizard, vampire, werewolf or mummy — and share this Creature Creator activity with friends. The application is currently available on DisneyChannel.com/Wizards.

The multi-camera series will begin production in Hollywood in August for a scheduled 2010 premiere on Disney Channels around the world.

With their parents juggling full time careers, the older Holliday siblings pitch in, getting very familiar with baby formula, burp clothes and babysitting while navigating typical teenage life.
