‘Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam: Extended Edition’ Details
The momentum continues for Disney’s “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” when Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment furthers the TV musical event of the year with the addition of two new musical numbers into the story, in Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam: Extended Edition, a Blu-ray Combo Pack & DVD, on September 7, 2010.
The premiere of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” will be presented across Labor Day weekend with four event telecasts -– each celebrating music and dance with a storyline that suggests life is about the way you play. The fun for kids, tweens and families begins FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 and goes through MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT, each night) on Disney Channel.
The Disney Channel Original Movie stars Teen Choice Award™-winning actress and recording artist Demi Lovato (Sonny With A Chance) and the hugely popular Grammy® nominated Jonas Brothers. The highly anticipated sequel also brings back fan favorites from “Camp Rock,” 2008′s #1 cable TV movie. The giant advert features the film’s stars Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato and Kevin Jonas and promotes the movie which will premiere on Disney Channel on September 3.

D23 to Offer Free Screening of ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ at Walt Disney Studios August 7
On Saturday, August 7, D23 and Disney Channel are offering D23 members the opportunity to see Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam almost a month before it premieres on the Disney Channel at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA, followed by a Q&A with the film’s creative team. Tickets are free and do not include a $5 processing fee. The screening is scheduled to begin promptly at 3 pm.

Fresh from a world tour, Shane, Jason and Nate of the rock band Connect 3 (Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas) are hanging at their uncle’s Camp Rock for the summer, too. But across the lake glistens the new big-money, state-of-the-art Camp Star and it has lured away many instructors and campers, putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy. Mitchie emerges as a leader determined to save the camp, gathering the group for an explosive Final Jam — an end-of-summer performance duel. May the best camp win!
Following the 90-minute screening, guests will get all the inside scoop on the film during a Q&A with some of the creative team behind the movie.

Disney Channel’s ‘Camp Rock 2′ Lets Out on Home Video on September 7
Quite a few of our readers scoffed when we announced that Disney Channel’s Original Movie Camp Rock 2: Final Jam would be making its television debut on September 3. Why are Hollywood kids going to camp when the rest of us commoners are already back in school?
An amazing question we have no answer for, yet even more puzzling to us is that if you happen to miss the Disney Channel premiere, you can now simply just take a deep breath and just go out and buy it on DVD because according to Amazon.com, the DVD is set to be released on September 7, just a few days later. Pre-orders are now being accepted for both the Blu-ray/DVD Combo

‘Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam’ Official iPhone App with Free Limited-Time Music Download Released
The Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam app is now available from the App Store. The app lets iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users hear music clips, watch videos and more from the Disney Channel Original Movie and its soundtrack.
The Camp Rock 2 app is available for $.99 and features:
- Free song download “Can’t Back Down,” with vocals from Demi Lovato plus Alyson Stoner, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Char Ligera. The free download will be available for the first 30 days, beginning May 26.
- Exclusive day and date audio and video premieres of Camp Rock 2 music and behind-the-scenes content.
- “Camp Rock Yourself” photo feature where users can take photo or use native photos in a Camp Rock 2 picture frame.
- “Shake” feature will re-skin entire app and all slides to “Camp Star,” the rival camp in the new movie.
- “Which Camp Rocker Are You” Quiz – users can answer a series of personality questions to find out which Camp Rock 2 star is most like them.

The app was produced by Walt Disney Records and Disney Channel. The Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam soundtrack will be available in stores and at online retailers beginning Tuesday, August 10. “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam” will premiere on Disney Channel Friday, September 3. The Jonas Brothers concert tour with special guest Demi Lovato (featuring both artists’ hits as well as music from both “Camp Rock” films) embarks on July 27.

It’s On! Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato will rock the summer in “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam,” a full out rock ‘n roll musical that celebrates music, dance and the freedom of summer and reminds viewers to ‘enjoy the journey.’ Part of the blockbuster Disney Channel Original Movie franchise that introduced a generation to contemporary movie musicals, “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam” premieres FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. It will be ushered in by the biggest summer-long experience ever presented by the channel, the industry leaders in providing world-class content for kids, tweens and families.
This summer of fun opens on a high-pitched Camp Rock reunion. All the Camp Rockers have returned, eager to tune up and rock out. Nobody’s more excited than Mitchie, who anticipates more than a summer of music. Fresh from a world tour, the rock band Connect 3 are hanging all summer – Shane to pursue last summer’s crush on Mitchie, his band mates as moral support. But Axel isn’t counting on a natural born leader named Mitchie, who vows to save her beloved camp and her friends’ summer. Then Mitchie steps it up again… by challenging the egocentric Camp Star to a Final Jam – an end-of-summer performance duel, may the best camp win.

JoBros and Demi Lovato of ‘Camp Rock 2′ Kick Off GMA’s 2010 Summer Concert Series
“Good Morning America” today announced its sizzling 2010 Summer Concert Series lineup with the hottest chart-topping acts in the country, including mega-watt stars Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and Alicia Keys; pop sensations the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus; country superstars Sugarland and Lady Antebellum; and the best nostalgia as The GO-GO’s perform for the final time on television. The 2010 Summer Concert Series returns for the second straight year to the Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, where music’s biggest names will perform live every Friday. The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Walgreen’s (first seven concerts) and John Frieda(r) Frizz-Ease(r) Hair Care (final eight concerts).
“GMA’s Summer Concert Series” kicks off on May 21 with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato performing songs from the highly anticipated “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”

Disney Channel Launches New Year’s Eve Event Today; DC Stars to Compete in NYE Game Show
Disney Channel invites viewers to create their own New Year’s Eve programming event by voting for their favorite episodes, moments, music videos and more in online polls at DisneyChannel.com. Beginning FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, three new polls will roll out each Friday inviting viewers to vote in a total of 18 categories, including Favorite Episodes and Favorite Guest Star. Fans can also vote for their Top 10 favorite music videos of 2009, and the songs will air on Radio Disney. Voting will determine the New Year’s Eve programming lineup, entitled “New Year’s Star Showdown,” airing THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 (6:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Throughout the night, Disney Channel will air sneak peeks of upcoming Disney Channel and Disney XD series and original movies including the much-anticipated “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.”
Last year nearly 33.7 million online votes were cast during the “Totally New Year” programming event. This year, every time one of the online polls is completed, users will unlock that week’s digital prize and reveal a piece of the mystery puzzle. Prizes include a 2010 printable calendar, New Year’s Eve party decorations and games. Fans can also test their Disney Channel knowledge in new online trivia games every week.
During the “New Year’s Eve Star Showdown” programming lineup, favorite Disney Channel stars will compete in five Game Show challenges: “So Random,” “Last Star Standing,” “Sound Off,” “Quick Draw” and the “New Years Eve Countdown Game.”
