WDW Candlelight Processional Update: Geena Davis, Andy Garcia, Amy Grant, James Denton
Walt Disney World has announced some changes to its lineup of narrators for its annual holiday event, the Candlelight Processional, held at the America Gardens Theatre, beginng November 23 of this year.
As we previously noted on Twitter, Isabella Rossellini will no longer be performing from November 23 – 25. We know her spot to be filled by actress Geena Davis. In addition, Andy Garcia has signed on for December 2 – 4, James Denton for December 8 & 9, Jodi Benson extended to December 10 – 13 and music singer Amy Grant from December 26 – 28. The full narration schedule as it currently stands is as follows:

Although the event is free (with park admission), lunch and dinner packages are available in which diners will also receive reserved seating (with remaining seats to be filled in via standby line) as well as access to a reserved viewing area for Illuminations.
Lunch Packages range from $32.99–$55.99 for Guests 10+, and $12.50–$17.99 for Guests 3–9 at restaurants including: Biergarten Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Les Chefs de France, Nine Dragons Restaurant, Restaurant Marrakesh, Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room, San Angel Inn, Teppan Edo, Tokyo Dining, Tutto Italia Ristorante and Via Napoli.

Disney World Candlelight Processional Celebrity Narrators Partially Announced for 2012
Walt Disney World has begun announcing its celebrity narrators for its Candlelight Processional performances which will take place this year during the ‘Holidays Around the World’ celebration at Epcot from November 23 through December 30, 2012.
The shows will take place at the America Gardens Theatre, located across the American Adventure pavilion. Shows are free with seating available on a standby basis, or through priority seating which is offered via special dinner and lunch packages from table service restaurants at Epcot. Park admission is separate and required regardless.

Walt Disney World Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages On Sale August 26
Walt Disney World has announced that dinner packages for its Candlelight Processional will become available August 26. The package includes dinner at one of the table service restaurants around the World Showcase, priority admission to the American Gardens Theatre where the event is held and special viewing for the holiday edition of Illuminations.

2009 Candlelight Processional Gets Cameron Shy: Kirk Out, Chita Rivera Dances In
Although it was previously announced that Kirk Cameron would be co-replacing Vanessa Williams as narrator for Epcot’s 2009 Candlelight Processional from December 12-13, an announcement has recently been made that it will now be theatrical legend Chita Rivera.

Updates to 2009 Candlelight Processional Narrator Schedule
As per Steve Soares, a couple of minor changes for Walt Disney World’s Candlelight Processional narrator schedule:
Vanessa Williams will now be performing on just the weekend of December 12 – 13. Abigail Breslin will be taking on the 14th in addition to her original schedule through the 17th.

D23 Announces Holiday Events Exclusively for D23 Members in Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Los Angeles

Details Emerging on the 2009 Candlelight Processional Package for Dining; 2 TS Credits, Includes Illuminations
The following information has recently become available on dining packages Epcot’s Candlelight Processional (CPP):
The CPP has been raised to 2 TS credits this year if you are on the Disney Dining Plan (and choose to use it).
In addition to preferred seating for the Candlelight Processional (that is, the CPP line being able to enter the America Gardens Theater prior to the standby line), the package also includes access to a reserved area for Illuminations viewing (specifics not yet known).
Times for the meals for the package are as follows: For the 5 pm show, ADRs will be for lunch from 1:45 pm – 2:45 pm; for the 6:45 pm show, ADRs will be for dinner from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm; and for the 8:15 pm show, ADRs will be from 5 pm – 6 pm.
Dining location options are as follows:
For Biergarten and Garden Grill (which serves dinner only) (Tier 1), cost is Lunch: $32.99 (Adult)/$17.99 (Child) and Dinner: $44.99 (Adult) / $22.99 (Child)
For Nine Dragons, Restaurant Marrakesh, Rose and Crown, and San Angel Inn (Tier 2), cost is Lunch: $38.99 (Adult)/$12.99 (Child) and Dinner: $44.99 (Adult) / $14.99 (Child)
For Chefs De France, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Teppen Edo, Tokyo Dining, Tutto Italia (Tier 3), cost is Lunch: $51.99 (Adult)/$13.99 (Child) and Dinner: $58.99 ($60.99 for 8:15 show) (Adult) / $15.99 (Child)
All meals include appetizer, entre, dessert and beverage. Tax and Gratuity are NOT included.
