This October 1, The Walt Disney Studios animated classic The Little Mermaid becomes a part of our world like never before as an all-new Diamond Edition release. To celebrate the return of the movie that gave voice to a whole generation, Disney has teamed up with the voice of a new generation, Grammy®-nominated music superstar Carly Rae Jepsen, to record a new version of The Little Mermaid’s beloved song ‘Part of Your World,’ which will appear as a music video on the upcoming Diamond Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack releases.

Canadian singer/songwriter and breakout pop sensation, Carly Rae Jepsen burst onto the scene with her Top Ten U.S. debut album Kiss and its global smash hit ‘Call Me Maybe,’ which held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for nine consecutive weeks and climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles charts in more than 47 countries, while her music videos have amassed over 600 million VEVO views. Jepsen won the 2012 American Music Award for Best New Artist and received two 2012 GRAMMY Award nominations for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year. Her new single, ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You,’ The Remix ft. Nicki Minaj from her Top Ten debut album Kiss is out now. Ms. Jepsen is set to dazzle our world again with an exciting new rendition of the classic ballad ‘Part of Your World.’

‘Part of Your World’ was written by composer Alan Menken and lyricist Howard Ashman and originally recorded for the movie by American actress and singer Jodi Benson, who gave voice to Disney’s favorite underwater princess, Ariel. The song is a Broadway-style ballad in which young heroine Ariel expresses her desire to be a part of the human world.

In addition to the new music video ‘Part of Your World’ featuring Ms. Jepsen, The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack includes a cavern of other wondrous bonus feature treasures. Viewers can experience the film in high definition Blu-ray 3D™, Blu-ray and High Definition Digital platforms.

Disney Channel has shared with us these hi-res stills from the episode titled ‘My Fair Librarian It Up’ which will premiere on Disney Channel at 9:00 pm ET/PT on Sunday, February 24. Click on either thumbnail to see it in its larger version.

Justin Bieber, Psy and More Join ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013′

Ryan Seacrest hosts “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013,” featuring an all-star lineup performing 15 No. 1 hits, including newly-announced additions to the West Coast party Justin Bieber, Jason Aldean, Greyson Chance, Ellie Goulding and The Wanted. In New York, Psy will join the recently announced 2012 American Music Awards winners, Taylor Swift and Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as Neon Trees, performing live in Times Square, MONDAY, DECEMBER 31 on ABC.

Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas hosts the West Coast party, which includes previously announced performers Brandy, Flo Rida, Karmin, One Republic and Pitbull.

The New Year’s festivities kick off at 8:00 p.m., ET with “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve Celebrates Dick Clark,” a two-hour look at the amazing life of Dick Clark, hosted by Fergie and Jenny McCarthy. The special celebrates, through clips and reminiscences, the legendary television personality and producer who rang in the New Year for four decades and launched and nurtured the careers of countless artists. Ryan Seacrest also joins the hosts for a special appearance in honor of Dick Clark.

Beginning at 10:00 p.m., ET, Ryan Seacrest will host “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013″ from New York, with Jenny McCarthy returning to interview the revelers in Times Square. Fergie returns to host the Los Angeles-based portions of the specials. The bi-coastal celebration will include over 5 1/2 hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s celebrations from around the globe, with Ryan Seacrest leading the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City.

The complete lineup Monday night, December 31 on ABC is:

8:00-10:00 p.m., ET — “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve Celebrates Dick Clark”

10:00-11:00 p.m., ET — “Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013″

1:08-2:12 a.m., ET — “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013, Part 2″
