WATCH: ‘Cinderella’ Blu-ray Bonus Feature Clips

'Cinderella' Theatrical PosterWalt Disney Studios Home Entertainment may be keeping us all in suspense as to when they will finally announce the Blu-ray release of its live-action Cinderella and which bonus features will be included, but fortunately Walt Disney Studios Australia (who released the film two weeks after the United States) has not already targeted for a June 24 release, but has begun releasing several short snippets from the bonus features — most of which we previously mentioned here — all of which you can find embedded below.

Disney ‘Cinderella’ Blu-ray to Feature Alternate Opening

'Cinderella' Theatrical PosterWith still no official announcements on its home release, we have learned of a couple of additional bonus features for the Blu-ray release of Cinderella (now available for pre-order), thanks to the British Board of Film Classification. As expected, Frozen Fever will be included as a bonus feature as well as ‘Alternative Opening: Ella’s Childhood’ which clocks in at just under three minutes. We will continue to update as deleted scenes and other features are revealed.

'Cinderella' Theatrical PosterAhead of any official announcements, the British Board of Film Classification has rated several bonus features for the Blu-ray release of Cinderella (now available for pre-order), which you can find detailed below.

The story of Cinderella follows the fortunes of young Ella (Lily James) whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. Eager to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new Stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home. But, when Ella’s father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family.

Walt Disney Studios has released a new clip from its upcoming film, Cinderella (March 13, 2015), which you can find embedded below. The new clip, titled ‘Come With Me’ features the Tremaines attempting work their magic on the ballroom dance floor while Ella has already evidently worked her magic on Kit as he invites her to escape the gala for a more quiet, secret place, where they will be guaranteed some alone time.

Disney ‘Cinderella’ Soundtrack to Include Free Code for ‘Frozen Fever’ Song Performed by Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell

Walt Disney Records CINDERELLAConfirming earlier reports by Stitch Kingdom, Walt Disney Records today announced that the original motion picture soundtrack for Cinderella (March 13, 2013), will feature both Lily James and Helena Bonham Carter performing covers of ‘A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes’ and ‘Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo’ respectively. The two songs will appear over the end title credits in addition to the original song ‘Strong’ which is performed by Sonna Rele. Walt Disney Records also announced that those who purchase the physical CD edition of the original motion picture soundtrack for Cinderella will also receive a code to download the all-new song from the short Frozen Fever, which was written by Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and features the vocal talents of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell ‘and cast.’  The soundtrack will be available for purchase on March 10 and is currently available for pre-order.

Walt Disney Studios UK has released a new clip from its upcoming film, Cinderella (March 13, 2015), which you can find embedded below. The new clip, effectively takes place right after the moment that Ella and Kit encounter each other for the first time, just shortly after Ella convinces a stag to run from its hunters and certain death, which we previously shared (and are also including below for the sake of continuity). In the new clip, Ella shares her life philosophies of ‘simply have courage and be kind’ and ‘just because it’s what’s done doesn’t mean it should be done’ — which is, of course, very convenient to the plot.
