REPORT: Jennifer Morrison and ‘Once Upon A Time’ Bring the Magic to Bloomingdale’s

In honor of the second season’s premiere of ‘Once Upon A Time,’ which returns on Sunday, September 30, 2012, ABC and Bloomingdale’s teamed up to bring the experience to stores nationwide and to the famed window displays at its 59th Street flagship store in New York City To commemorate the windows’ unveiling, Jennifer Morrison — best known to her legions of fans as Emma Swan, Storybrooke’s reluctant heroine — was on hand to meet and greet with fans.
While fans eagerly awaited the opportunity to meet Morrison, they were treated to ‘Once Upon A Time’-inspired (read:primarily apple-based) hors d’oeuvre and drinks, along with other treats such as the cookie pictured below.
The windows themselves are filled mannequins posed as some of the show’s more popular characters from the first season, in vignettes inspired by iconic imagery from the series. Though the mannequins themselves look disturbingly nothing like the characters they represent, they are each dressed in clothes ‘from and evocative of’ the show. Labels on the windows identify each of the mannequins and which of the popular fashion designers featured at Bloomingdale’s dressed them.

Mr. Gold has introduced magic back into Storybrooke to gain the upper hand against Regina. In the Enchanted Forest, Prince Phillip awakens Aurora (Sarah Bolger) and discovers that his companion Mulan (Jamie Chung) must face a deadly foe.

Disney Dream Portraits by Annie Leibovitz Series Continues with Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan Tributes
Via its official blog, Disney Parks and Resorts today unveiled the first few of a new series of portraits by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz portraying celebrities in iconic classic Disney roles.
The new images feature Russell Brand poised as Captain Hook facing his nemesis, the crocodile known as Tick-Tock with the caption ‘Where every moment leaves you hungry for more’ and Jack Black, Will Ferrell and Jason Segel as the Haunted Mansion ghosts, Phinease, Ezara and Gus with the caption ‘Where you can go on the ride of your afterlife.

Additional images from the series will be included as special inserts in the fall 2012 issues of GQ, O – The Oprah Magazine, People, People En Espanol, Vanity Fair, Real Simple, Essence and InStyle.

Bella Thorne, Zendaya to Meet and Greet with Fans at Disneyland Resort
In honor of the release of ‘Shake It Up: Live 2 Dance’ soundtrack, featuring music from the hit Disney Channel show, ‘Shake It Up,’ stars Bella Thorne and Zendaya will be offering the opportunity for fans to attend a signing being held at Studio Disney 365 in the Downtown Disney District of the Disneyland Resort on March 24.
The event will being at noon at which point Bella and Zendaya will participate in a Q&A session moderated by Radio Disney’s own Jake Whetter. The signing portion will take place beginning at 1 pm.
To attend the signing, guests must first purchase either a ‘Shake It Up: Live 2 Dance’ CD or ‘Shake it Up’ tee shirt at Studio Disney 365 beginning at 8 am that day. Each guest may purchase up to two CDs, but will receive a maximum of one voucher to return for the signing, at which point two purchased items can be signed (no personal items from home will be allowed). Only 200 vouchers will be distributed on a first buy, first served basis.

Juanes is expected to release a new album in May 2012, and he will be featured on MTV’s Tr3s network on March 6, 2012. During his career, the Colombian-born performer has sold more than 12 million albums. He was named Latin music’s “Artist of the Decade” by Billboard and one of TIME Magazine’s ’100 Most Influential People in the World.’
