A new trailer from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Wreck-It Ralph, which debuts in theaters domestically on November 2, 2012, has been making its way around the world this morning. In addition to the 8-bit treatment for the Walt Disney Pictures logo that appears at the beginning of each film, this time modified to the film’s theme. The trailer also features a variation of the ‘when the game is over,’ tagline we’ve been seeing on posters, but ends with ‘a new world comes to life’ which is a particularly odd way to describe something that’s presumably existed for decades.
Walt Disney Studios has released the first teaser trailer for The Lone Ranger, starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, exclusively through Apple’s Trailers site. From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ The Lone Ranger, a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice — taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

Amazon.com has updated its entry for the Wreck-It Ralph original motion picture soundtrack to include the 25-track list. Ultimately, short of the titles of the score portions composed by Henry Jackman, there is little surprise here except that it includes previously released music from Kool & the Gang and Rhianna in addition to the original music for the film by Owl City, AKB48 and Skrillex with Noisa.
With that said, here is the official track listing for the album which will be available to own on October 30, 2012:
Ahead of any official announcement from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, the official Peter Pan Facebook fan page reports that Peter Pan: Diamond Edition will
never land on Disney Blu-ray on February 5, 2013. The movie, with little more than a placeholder, is available to pre-order now on Amazon.com.
Since no official announcement has been made at this time, bonus features are unknown but we are unhappy to report that from what we have learned thus far, there will be no additional features including in the Blu-ray edition of the film, although we sincerely hope we are wrong. We also expect Return to Never Land to be released at the same time.
Disneynature’s 2014 motion picture Bears cozies up to the brown bears who call Alaska’s stunning coastal mountains and shores their home, revealing through tender moments and entertaining imagery how these animals are far from grizzly creatures. This shooting location provides some of the most spectacular visuals ever for a Disneynature film. The film is directed by Keith Scholey (African Cats) and Alastair Fothergill (Earth, African Cats and Chimpanzee).
Initially purported to be a clip exclusive to the Frankenweenie: An Electrifying Book iBook, Walt Disney Studios has recently released this extended clip from Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie through Apple’s trailer website (this particular embed comes to us via Walt Disney Studios Australia).
Titled ‘Goldfish Reanimated,’ the clip takes places shortly after Edgar ‘E’ Gore confronts Victor in his home about how he knows Sparky has been brought back to life. Blackmailed, Victor shares his secret reanimation process with Edgar on a specially-selected goldfish, but neither understand the shocking result.
Frankenweenie debuts in theaters nationwide on October 5, 2012
From Walt Disney Studios Australia/New Zealand comes this teaser poster for Wreck-It Ralph from Walt Disney Animation Studios. In addition to featuring Ralph, Fix-It Felix, Vanellope von Schweetz and Sergeant Calhoun, the poster also features licensed characters including Sonic the Hedgehog, Neff, Zangief, Dr. Eggman, Q-Bert and M-Bison in a pose reminiscent of the iconic scene inThe Right Stuff under the tag line ‘when the arcade closes, the fun begins.’
The poster’s image also takes place inside Game Central Station and shows the electrical sockets leading to the movies’ original games (‘Fix-It Felix Jr,’ ‘Hero’s Duty’ and ‘Sugar Rush’) as well as popular, licensed games such as ‘Street Fighter,’ ‘Q-Bert’ and another title that appears to end in ‘Racing.’
Walt Disney Studios has provided us with these images from the ‘white carpet’ last night as Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie held its Los Angeles premiere at Disney’s El Capitan Theater. Much of the cast along with several celebrities were attendance for the event which was covered by a special section known as the ‘puppy-razi.’
After the premiere, the celebs moved across the street to The Annex at the Hollywood & Highland Center for the afterparty, which featured neat decor such as prop movie posters for films based on the pets seen in the film such as the turtle monster and the mummy hamster.
Did you ever wonder what puppet excrement looks like? You’re about to find out, but before we get to that revelation, we have a couple of other clips from Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie from Walt Disney Studios to share with you.
First up is one of the more embarrassing of the trio and many of us can empathize. Picture this: you’re a young boy on the verge of manhood and you’re curious about anatomy, experimenting as much as you can in the privacy of your attic lab. Then suddenly — when you least expect it — your mom bursts into the room and discovers your dirty, little secret — you’ve resurrected your dead dog. So goes this clip titled ‘Mom Finds Sparky:’
