Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has officially announced that the Aladdin: Diamond Edition will be available to own digitally and on Disney Movies Anywhere on September 29, 2015, with a Blu-ray combo pack release on October 13 (now available for pre-order). No bonus features have been announced at this time.
Walt Disney Studios has provided us with over 20 new hi-res stills for Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland (May 22, 2015), which have been added to our gallery embedded below. While many of them are glimpses of the trailers and items released so far, there are some gems in here, in particularly those with Young Frank at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York.
Walt Disney Studios has released a couple of character ‘pods’ in support of Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland (May 22, 2015), which you can find embedded below. The pods focus on the characters of Casey Newton and Athena respectively and feature newly released footage from the film as the pods help to establish the characters. In addition, there are a couple of segments from Disney Channel’s Movie Surfers, which features some behind-the-scenes footage and new clips as well.
With just under a week before the domestic theatrical release of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015), Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios have provided us with several dozen high resolution stills. While some have been previously released and some are from the official press kit (and even shared by us via Twitter), all of them are just full of awesomeness. Along with the theatrical release of Monkey Kingdom, Disneynature has released the first teaser trailer for Born in China which will make its global debut in 2016. The film invites nature and film lovers to ‘join Disneynature on a remarkable journey to see the beauty of China and experience the epic stories of animal families set against a vast canvas.’
In addition to featuring the giant panda seen here, the film also promises to include ‘rare footage’ of endangered snow leopards.
Earlier today on ‘Good Morning America,’ Walt Disney Studios debuted the new trailer for Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland (May 22, 2015) which will make its official online debut later this afternoon. You can find it embedded below.
In addition, the TakeMeToTomorrowland.com website has been activated. Although many of the videos on it are marked as ‘coming soon,’ there is one video called ‘Origins of Plus Ultra: A New Tomorrow’ which is narrated by ‘Orson Welles’ and is said to have been animated by Walt Disney himself according to the Before Tomorrowland prequel.

All of the new stills feature Frank Walker, most notably as ‘young Frank Walker,’ taking his jet pack for a spin or two throughout Tomorrowland.
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment today confirmed our earlier report that McFarland USA will be available to own on Blu-ray, DVD and digital on June 2, 2015 (now available for pre-order).
Starting today at Disneyland (and tomorrow at Walt Disney World’s Epcot), park guests will have the opportunity to see a 12 promotional film for Disney’s Tomorrowland (May 22, 2015) for a limited time. Last evening, prior to the Annual Passholder preview, director and co-writer Brad Bird, along with co-writer Damon Lindelof, spent some time in the portion of the exhibit that features props and concept art and spoke briefly about the film. A video of the pair talking about the film as well as showing off some of the exhibit’s contents is embedded below.
In honor of the second teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens (December 18, 2015), Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm have provided us with hi-res stills from the feature. You can find the newly released stills in our gallery below, but what’s especially awesome to note is that some of the stills appear as both their cropped film ratio as well as both IMAX and 4K formats which show even more of the background.
