Walt Disney Studios Japan has released a new trailer for Pixar Animation Studios’ Finding Dory (June 17, 2016) which features a ton of new footage from the film (with Japanese audio). You can find the trailer embedded below.
While Adam Aron, the CEO of movie theater chain AMC Theatres, recently caused himself a bit of internet backlash by suggesting that some seating sections should be designated texting zones, Disney is working behind the scenes to make something like this happen.
Disney has actually experimented with a product they call ‘Second Screen’ before with special organized showings of The Little Mermaid and The Nightmare Before Christmas which encouraged theatergoers to being their iOS device to the show and supplement the film with interactive games and trivia as audience members compete for the highest score, but this is not that.

Walt Disney Records has released the full track list for Jon Favreau’s adaptation of The Jungle Book (April 15, 2015). As previously reported by Stitch Kingdom, the score by John Debney is accompanied by performances of some of the animated classic anthems by the film’s stars. Not only does Scarlett Johansson perform Kaa’s ‘Trust in Me’ and Bill Murray performs Baloo’s ‘Bare Necessities,’ but Christopher Walken performs a brand new version of King Louie’s ‘I Wan’na Be Like You’ featuring brand new lyrics by Disney Legend Richard Sherman.
After an appearance by Benedict Cumberbatch on ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ Marvel Studios has released the first official teaser trailer for Doctor Strange (November 4, 2016), which you can find embedded below.
Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
The cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Michael Stuhlberge with Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton. Marvel’s Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Charles Newirth, Stephen Broussard and Stan Lee as executive producers. The film opens in U.S. theaters on November 4, 2016.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Jonathan Aris.
Directed by Alan Barillaro, Piper shares the story of a hungry baby sandpiper that suffers from the fear of water (or hydrophobia according to Pixar, though that implies Piper has rabies), who meets a young hermit crab who teaches Piper about the ocean’s waves. The six minute short was scored by Adrian Belew, the lead singer of King Crimson.
According to recent trademark applications, Disney plans to stream virtual reality movies and videos through an online service called ‘Disney Movies VR.’ Two such applications have been published by the US Patent and Trademark Office to date: serial number 86957194 is ‘computer software and downloadable applications for delivering, accessing, downloading, streaming, playing, browsing, and viewing virtual reality and digital content;’ and serial number 86957196 is for ‘streaming and delivery of virtual reality and digital content.’
