The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

'Doctor Strange' Teaser PosterAfter an appearance by Benedict Cumberbatch on ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ Marvel Studios has released the first official teaser trailer for Doctor Strange (November 4, 2016), which you can find embedded below.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

The cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Michael Stuhlberge with Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton. Marvel’s Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Charles Newirth, Stephen Broussard and Stan Lee as executive producers. The film opens in U.S. theaters on November 4, 2016.

After having made their recent debut on Marvel.com, Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios have provided us with all of the released concept art for Marvel’s Doctor Strange (November 4, 2016) in ultra high resolution for your enjoyment. The images include the Chamber of Relics and the Sanctum Sanctorum as well as an image of Doctor Strange following his accident (titled ‘Checkmate’) and a couple of images clearly depicting Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role. For your benefit, we have chosen to keep all images at their original resolution — which for the Doctor Strange profile clocks in at nearly 30 megapixels.

But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley), and the free-spirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray). Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don’t exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa (voice of Scarlett Johansson), a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie (voice of Christopher Walken), who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire.

‘Pete’s Dragon’ Remake Scheduled for August 2016; ‘Jungle Book’ Gets Pushed Back

According to Box Office Mojo, Disney’s remake of the 1977 classic Pete’s Dragon has been given a theatrical release date of August 12, 2016. The film has made news in recent days via reports that Michael C. Hall and Wes Bentley are now attrached to the project that also involves Robert Redford, Bryce Dallas Howard and Oakes Fegley.

In other news, Jon Favreau’s celebrity-filled live-action/CGI hybrid The Jungle Book has been pushed back about six months so it will now debut in theaters on April 15, 2016 (formerly October 9, 2015)
