Anaheim, CA, September 10, 2009 — Seda France recently unveiled the all-new Walt Disney Signature Home Fragrance Collection – part of Disney’s premiere upscale, non-character, adult lifestyle brand – and this week that line can be found at the first-ever D23 Expo, an event that Disney President and Chief Executive Bob Iger is calling “the ultimate event for the multitude of fans who have been so instrumental in Disney’s success.” The Expo, to be held September 10-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center, will offer a sneak peek at all-new Disney films and will also showcase a collection of Disney props, artifacts and costumes.

This Saturday, September 12, in Anaheim, CA, LOST cast members are going to be making a public appearance at Disney’s D23 Convention; additionally some really fantastic pieces of LOST history are going to be on display- including Kate’s toy plane, Hurley’s winning lottery ticket, Locke’s hunting knife, Sawyer’s letter and many other surprises! These items will be on view Thursday September 10 through Sunday, September 13, the entire weekend of D23, and will be up for auction after the series finale in May of 2010.
– Of course the biggest news is that very shortly after we released a readable D23 Expo schedule, D23 released the full guide in PDF format that will be distributed at the Expo. If you haven’t already, you should get it now from the Expo schedule page. If for some reason it gets updated between now and Thursday, we will alert you as soon as possible via twitter and facebook.
– Panelists have been named for each of the films in the 50 and Fabulous film festival which is jam-packed with Disney Legends such as Dave Smith, Tommy Kirk and Mary Costa amongst others. More info on the film festival’s page here.
Hot new recording artists Honor Society, the first band signed to Jonas Brothers’ joint venture label with Disney’s Hollywood Records, will perform during the largest Disney fan gathering ever, D23 EXPO on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 (2:00-4:00 p.m.) at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The band’s debut album, “Fashionably Late,” will release on September 15 and its first single, “Over You,” is now rolling out on radio stations nationwide.
Delivering an R&B/pop/rock sound, skilled musicianship, energetic live shows and a sense of style, Honor Society was named a breakout band to watch by Rolling Stone, identified as Buzzworthy Artists by MTV and opened for one of the most popular tour this year, Jonas Brother World Tour 2009 with Jordin Sparks.

Actress and star of ABC’s new comedy “Cougar Town,” Courteney Cox, will join the all-star lineup at “The ABCs of Disney,” a special presentation at the D23 EXPO, September 10, 3:00 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center arena.
Cox gained overnight fame as neurotic yet loveable Monica Gellar on the Emmy(r) Award-winning comedy “Friends.” The show also garnered Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from 1999-2004. In 1996 she starred in Wes Craven’s horror/comedy “Scream.” She went on to reprise her role two more times for the “Scream” trilogy. Additional film credits include “3000 Miles to Graceland,” “Mr. Destiny,” “Cocoon: The Return,” “Zoom,” “November,” “The Longest Yard” and “Barnyard.” Cox teams this season with “Scrubs” creator Bill Lawrence on the new ABC comedy “Cougar Town.” They serve as executive producers through their companies, Coquette and Doozer, respectively.
