‘Dancing with the Stars’ to Feature Justin Bieber with Boyz II Men and Christina Perri

Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars” kicks off live from the ballroom with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the remaining couples as they get ready for their big Halloween night during the special ABC premiere of “Scared Shrekless,” which airs Monday, October 31 from 7:58-8:30 p.m., ET. Inspired by the hit feature film “Shrek,” viewers will join Shrek (Mike Myers) as he celebrates his favorite holiday, ogre-style. Shreck ditches the standard tricks or treats and challenges fairy-tale characters, including Donkey (Dean Edwards) and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), to a scary storytelling contest. Just as the contest is set to begin, they all discover they must spend the night in Lord Farguaad’s haunted castle, and the last one to be scared “Shrekless” will win.

Then, the Halloween Night event continues with an exciting Halloween-themed episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” filled with thrilling performances from the remaining six couples. Each pair will light up the ballroom floor with killer costumes and an electrifying dance to some of Halloween’s favorite spooky tunes. Later in the night they return to the floor when Team Tango’s J.R & Karina, Nancy & Tristan and David & Kym, dancing to Rihanna’s “Disturbia,” battle Team Paso’s Ricki & Derek, Hope & Maksim and Rob & Cheryl, dancing to Evanescence’s “Bring Me to Life.” The gripping 90-minute show airs Monday, October 31 at 8:300 pm ET on the ABC Television Network.

This week on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” global pop sensation Justin Bieber and the best selling R&B group of all time, Boyz II Men, collaborate for a television premiere performance of “Fa La La,” accompanied by pro dancers Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower. “Fa La La” is from Bieber’s Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe,” available November 1st. Bieber will hit the stage for a second time with a knockout performance of his megahit song, “Never Say Never.” Pro dancer Derek Hough joins “So You Think You Can Dance” dancer Alison Holker for an exceptional Latin infused choreographed number. Additionally, this season’s second “AT&T Spotlight Performance” will truly be an emotional and unique dance performance, accompanied by hot new recording artist Christina Perri singing her smash hit, “Arms.” In the end, the sixth couple eliminated must say goodbye, Tuesday, November 1 at 9:00 pm ET.

Global phenomenon Justin Bieber begins his third year on the world stage with the November 1st release of his first Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe,” produced by Kuk Harrell. The album is a seasonal mix of traditional Christmas standards and newly penned holiday music largely co-written by Bieber. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ to Feature Kristin Chenoweth, Martina McBride, Corbin Bleu and ‘Sister Act’ Musical

The remaining seven couples bring widely entertaining performances to the ballroom floor with explosive dancing and unforgettable songs from some of Broadway’s most popular musicals of all time. The night full of show tunes will include a breathtaking performance from Emmy(r) and Tony Award(r) winner Kristin Chenoweth, who is set to perform a medley of “Maybe This Time” from “Cabaret” and “I Could Have Danced All Night” from “My Fair Lady.” We also welcome the Broadway cast of “Sister Act,” performing a feel-good medley of “Raise Your Voice” and “Sunday Morning Fever.” Plus for the first time this season, the seven couples will perform their second dance of the night together in a Broadway-themed group dance to a medley of “Big Spender” from “Sweet Charity” and “Money Money” from “Cabaret,” on “Dancing with the Stars,” MONDAY, OCTOBER 24 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

On Tuesday, the entertainment continues with another dazzling performance from Kristin Chenoweth who will perform “Lessons Learned” from her new album, “Some Lessons Learned,” accompanied by pro dancers Tony Dovolani and Dasha Chesnokova. Country music entertainer Martina McBride returns to the ballroom with a spectacular performance of “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” the hit single from her new album, “Eleven,” accompanied by pro dancers Chelsie Hightower and Val Chmerkovskiy. Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth is an accomplished singer and actress of stage, television and film. The Broadway musical “Sister Act” recently celebrated its 200th performance. The musical is produced by Whoopi Goldberg and Stage Entertainment and is currently in its 8th smash month on Broadway, where it is directed by Jerry Zaks and features choreography by Anthony Van Laast. Ortega not only is known for his stage choreography but also for his film choreography. Film choreography credits include classics such as “Dirty Dancing,” “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “Pretty in Pink” and “St. Elmo’s Fire.” As a director, he directed Disney Channel’s “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2,” which were both the most successful Disney Channel Original Movies to date when they premiered. Corbin Bleu, a gifted young talent who has achieved a remarkable level of success as both an actor and recording artist, continues to evolve with each new project. The competition gets heated as the remaining eight couples perform any style dance to favorite classic ’80s hit songs. And iconic pop group The Bangles visit the ballroom with a special performance, singing some of their biggest hits, “Manic Monday” and a medley of “Eternal Flame” and “Walk Like an Egyptian,” on MONDAY, OCTOBER 17 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

On Tuesday, American pop singer/songwriter Kelly Clarkson is set to perform the first single “Mr. Know It All” off her upcoming album, “Stronger,” as well as her hit song “Walk Away,” accompanied by pro dancers Mark Ballas, Sharna Burgess, Val Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Cuts Loose with Blake Shelton, Raphael Saadiq and Susan Boyle

In this week’s “Dancing with the Stars,” the remaining nine pairs will perform their dance style of choice to an array of iconic movie scores, orchestrated by the brilliant “Dancing with the Stars” band, Monday, October 10 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

Born and raised in Oakland, California, Saadiq began singing in a professional gospel group at the age of nine. His musical education encompassed classical music, ’40s spirituals, hymns, jazz and R&B. He was the lead vocalist and bass player with the late ’80s / early ’90s successful group Tony! Toni! Tone!. After leaving the group, he recorded two singles for hit movies, “Ask of You” from Higher Learning and “Me &You” from Boyz in the Hood. In 2000 he created the group Lucky Pearl, and the group’s sole self-titled album received Grammy(r) Award, American Music Award and Soul Train Music Award nominations. Saadiq is an award-winning producer who has worked with such artists as Joss Stone, The Roots, Snoop Dogg and John Legend, among many others. He is an all around musical inspiration, delivering the sound of soul, influenced by the music he grew up on.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Results Show to Feature Harry Connick, Jr., LMFAO

A live one-hour special, “Dancing with the Stars: Meet the Cast,” airing Tuesday, September 20 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network, features the most exciting moments from Monday night’s performances, along with commentary from the judges and never-before-seen footage from the teams’ first weeks of training. Following the one-hour special will be the Season Premiere of “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” at 9:00 pm ET, with musical performances by Harry Connick, Jr. and LMFAO. By evening’s end, the first couple of the season will be sent home.

This week, Grammy ® and Emmy® Award winner Harry Connick, Jr. is set to perform “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever” from his upcoming Broadway musical by the same title. Electro hip-hop duo LMFAO also hits the stage, performing a medley of “Sexy and I Know it” and “Party Rock Anthem.” Both musical acts will be accompanied by “Dancing with the Stars” pros on the dance floor. Tuesday night’s musical acts will be the first to perform on the spectacular newly redesigned set that incorporates touches of the original ballroom, but now with three tiers of amphitheatre style balconies and state of the art staircase that moves with the band on a rising platform.

Harry Connick, Jr., one of today’s most successful and multi-talented artists, who has garnered acclaim in both the music and acting arenas, takes the stage. In addition to his role in “Dolphin Tale” and a 2011 Emmy win for “Harry Connick Jr. In Concert on Broadway,” he returns to Broadway this fall in the revival of the musical “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.” His love of music and performing dates back to his childhood in New Orleans, where he studied piano with such luminaries as James Booker and Ellis Marsalis. He first performed publicly at age 5, appeared on his first recording at age 10 and released his self-titled major label debut for Columbia Records at 19, only a year after his high school graduation and his move to New York City. In the two decades since, he has released more than 20 albums, totaling more than 25 million in sales, and has received numerous music honors, including three Grammy Awards. He made his feature film acting debut in the World War II drama “Memphis Belle.” His acting credits also include Jodie Foster’s “Little Man Tate”; Jon Amiel’s “Copycat”; “Independence Day,” with Will Smith; “Hope Floats,” opposite Sandra Bullock; “Mickey,” written by John Grisham; William Friedkin’s “Bug”; Richard LaGravenese’s “P.S. I Love You,” with Hilary Swank; and “New in Town,” opposite RenŽe Zellweger. LMFAO, the Grammy-nominated electro hip-hop duo of Redfoo and Sky Blu, perform a medley that includes Billboard Magazine’s 2011 song of the summer, “Party Rock Anthem!” The track held the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top 100 Singles chart for 8 weeks in a row, and had the world shuffling as it topped the charts in 15 other countries. The duo’s sophomore set “Sorry for Party Rocking,” was released in June on Party Rock/will.i.am/Cherrytree/Interscope Records, where it debuted at #12 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. LMFAO first got the party started with the release of their 2009 debut album, “Party Rock,” which included the singles “I’m in Miami Bitch,” “Shots feat.
