‘Dancing with the Stars’ to Feature Flo Rida, Andrea Bocelli with Chris Botti and Cirque du Soleil

With only five remaining couples, the competition heats up as each couple performs two individual dances. They will first hit the dance floor performing a ballroom style dance that they have not yet performed, then will face their biggest challenge yet with the “Instant Dance” – in which they will have to master a jive to music they’ve been given during the live show — Monday, November 7 at 8:00 pm ET on the ABC Television Network.

On Tuesdaym November 8 at 9:00 pm ET on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” the eighth couple this season will be eliminated and sent home. The one-hour show will also feature an entertaining pro dancer performance, this time with only the ladies, to Jordin Sparks’ “I Am Woman.” The performance is choreographed by Jaquel Knight, who choreographed Beyonce’s infamous “Single Ladies” music video.

During Tuesday night’s show, Andrea Bocelli will grace the ballroom with a magical performance of “More” with Chris Botti. The Troupe will accompany their performance. Bocelli is widely regarded as the most popular Italian tenor in the world, with more than 70 million albums sold. On November 15 he will release “Andrea Bocelli Concerto: One Night in Central Park,” a CD/DVD which captures the many sides of his musical passions all in one package. It will not only include some of his finest performances to date from the worlds of classical and pop, but also five new songs, including a swinging rendition of “More” with Chris Botti. In December, Bocelli’s Central Park concert will air on Broadcast Television as part of the PBS Arts Fall Festival, and he will return to the U.S for a select few concerts.

Also on Tuesday’s results show, Miami-based rapper Flo Rida will hit the stage with a knockout performance — a medley of two of his chart topping singles, “Club Can’t Handle Me” and “Good Feeling.” In 2010 Flo Rida teamed up with French DJ David Guetta to create the smash Top 10 hit, “Club Can’t Handle Me,” which went on to sell nearly five million singles worldwide. Flo Rida’s newest single, “Good Feeling,” from his upcoming album, has skyrocketed on radio charts, climbing to No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The international superstar is one of the most recognizable artists today, and globally has sold over 42 million singles and nearly two million albums.

This week’s “Macy’s Stars of Dance” performance will mark the television premiere of the new Cirque du Soleil show, “Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour.” Tuesday’s performance showcases an international cast of dancers and acrobats in a specially-created montage for “Dancing with the Stars” featuring the Michael Jackson songs “Smooth Criminal” and “Billie Jean.” “Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour” is the latest production from the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil and combines Michael Jackson music and choreography with Cirque du Soleil creativity in a riveting fusion of visuals, dance, music and fantasy that immerses audiences into Michael’s Jackson’s creative world. “THE IMMORTAL Tour” features the diverse talents of 64 international dancers, musicians and acrobats and was written and directed by Jamie King, the leading concert director in pop music today. The show captures the essence, soul and inspiration of the King of Pop, celebrating a legacy that continues to transcend generations. On November 21, Epic Records will release “Immortal” – the highly anticipated soundtrack of “Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour” from Cirque du Soleil. “THE IMMORTAL Tour” is currently performing in cities across North America and will head to Europe in Fall 2012.

By Tuesday evening’s end, one couple will be eliminated, as determined by a combination of the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes on dances performed on Monday’s performance show. Who among the five couples will be the next to leave the ballroom?

* NANCY GRACE, TV host and journalist, and partner TRISTAN MACMANUS.
* ROBERT KARDASHIAN, reality star, and partner CHERYL BURKE.
* RICKI LAKE, talk show host and actress, and partner DEREK HOUGH.
* J.R. MARTINEZ, veteran and actor, and partner KARINA SMIRNOFF.
* HOPE SOLO, World Cup star, and partner MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY.

Hosted by Tom Bergeron (“America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Brooke Burke-Charvet (“Dancing with the Stars” Season Seven Champion), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ to Feature Justin Bieber with Boyz II Men and Christina Perri

Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars” kicks off live from the ballroom with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the remaining couples as they get ready for their big Halloween night during the special ABC premiere of “Scared Shrekless,” which airs Monday, October 31 from 7:58-8:30 p.m., ET. Inspired by the hit feature film “Shrek,” viewers will join Shrek (Mike Myers) as he celebrates his favorite holiday, ogre-style. Shreck ditches the standard tricks or treats and challenges fairy-tale characters, including Donkey (Dean Edwards) and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), to a scary storytelling contest. Just as the contest is set to begin, they all discover they must spend the night in Lord Farguaad’s haunted castle, and the last one to be scared “Shrekless” will win.

Then, the Halloween Night event continues with an exciting Halloween-themed episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” filled with thrilling performances from the remaining six couples. Each pair will light up the ballroom floor with killer costumes and an electrifying dance to some of Halloween’s favorite spooky tunes. Later in the night they return to the floor when Team Tango’s J.R & Karina, Nancy & Tristan and David & Kym, dancing to Rihanna’s “Disturbia,” battle Team Paso’s Ricki & Derek, Hope & Maksim and Rob & Cheryl, dancing to Evanescence’s “Bring Me to Life.” The gripping 90-minute show airs Monday, October 31 at 8:300 pm ET on the ABC Television Network.

This week on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” global pop sensation Justin Bieber and the best selling R&B group of all time, Boyz II Men, collaborate for a television premiere performance of “Fa La La,” accompanied by pro dancers Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower. “Fa La La” is from Bieber’s Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe,” available November 1st. Bieber will hit the stage for a second time with a knockout performance of his megahit song, “Never Say Never.” Pro dancer Derek Hough joins “So You Think You Can Dance” dancer Alison Holker for an exceptional Latin infused choreographed number. Additionally, this season’s second “AT&T Spotlight Performance” will truly be an emotional and unique dance performance, accompanied by hot new recording artist Christina Perri singing her smash hit, “Arms.” In the end, the sixth couple eliminated must say goodbye, Tuesday, November 1 at 9:00 pm ET.

Global phenomenon Justin Bieber begins his third year on the world stage with the November 1st release of his first Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe,” produced by Kuk Harrell. The album is a seasonal mix of traditional Christmas standards and newly penned holiday music largely co-written by Bieber. The album features guest appearances from Mariah Carey, Usher, Boyz II Men, Busta Rhymes and The Band Perry. This will be Bieber’s fifth album release since he first arrived on Island Records/RBMG in November 2009 with “My World.” “My World” included his worldwide debut hit, “One Time,” the follow-up “One Less Lonely Girl,” and two more chart hits, “Love Me” and “Favorite Girl.” With that, Bieber became the first solo artist in history to send four songs from a debut album into the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot 100 prior to the album’s release. To date, he has attained more than 11 million in worldwide CD sales. Bieber has recently been nominated for Favorite Male Artist and is set to perform at the “2011 American Music Awards®.”

A truly iconic band, Boyz II Men redefined R&B and revolutionized the genre. Celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, the band has penned and performed some of the most celebrated songs and timeless classics of the past two decades. The group’s 4 Grammy ® Awards are just the tip of the iceberg: throughout their 20-year career, Boyz II Men have also won a whopping 16 American Music Awards ®, 9 Soul Train Awards, 3 MTV Awards and 3 Billboard Awards. This iconic group, composed of Nate Morris, Wayna Morris and Shawn Stockman, has earned the honor of being the best selling R&B group of all time, with an astounding 60 million albums sold. Given the monumental success of their albums and the timeless quality of their vocals, it’s easy to see why Boyz II Men remains an inspiration to some of the most successful stars in the industry. The band continues to tour across the country and around the globe, performing a mix of their latest tracks and treasured classics. And to celebrate their landmark 20th Anniversary, Boyz II Men has recently released a brand new album, “Twenty,” which features new material for the first time in 10 years. It was released October 26th on the band’s own label, MSM Music, with partners Benchmark Entertainment.

The “AT&T Spotlight Performance” features and celebrates people whose lives have been changed forever by dance. This week “Dancing with the Stars” has chosen to spotlight 16-year-old Victoria Rose Viren. At the young age of 14, the gifted young dancer was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to undergo intense treatment. The ballerina did not let this get in her way of her passion for dancing, and instead used dance to help her get through her treatment. Now fully recovered, Victoria will be dancing live on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” accompanied by recording artist Christina Perri. Perri, a very talented singer-songwriter and musician, was a struggling artist until her first break on “So You Think You Can Dance” last summer, with her performance of “Jar of Hearts.” The 24-year-old Philadelphia native captivated the hearts of listeners across the country with her raw and emotional performance. She later went on to sign with Atlantic Records and released her debut album, “Lovestrong,” which combines her soaring, bittersweet voice with expressive piano playing to sketch out her stories. Perri’s first single, “Jar of Hearts,” was Top 10 on iTunes Pop chart and landed at No. 25 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Her latest single, “Arms,” is also from her debut album, “Lovestrong.”

By Tuesday evening’s end, one couple will be eliminated, as determined by a combination of the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes on dances performed on Monday’s performance show. Who among the six couples will be the next to leave the ballroom?

* DAVID ARQUETTE, actor and producer, and partner KYM JOHNSON.
* NANCY GRACE, TV host and journalist, and partner TRISTAN MACMANUS.
* ROBERT KARDASHIAN, reality star, and partner CHERYL BURKE.
* RICKI LAKE, talk show host and actress, and partner DEREK HOUGH.
* J.R. MARTINEZ, veteran and actor, and partner KARINA SMIRNOFF.
* HOPE SOLO, World Cup star, and partner MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ to Feature The Bangles, Kelly Clarkson and The Band Perry

The competition gets heated as the remaining eight couples perform any style dance to favorite classic ’80s hit songs. And iconic pop group The Bangles visit the ballroom with a special performance, singing some of their biggest hits, “Manic Monday” and a medley of “Eternal Flame” and “Walk Like an Egyptian,” on MONDAY, OCTOBER 17 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

On Tuesday, American pop singer/songwriter Kelly Clarkson is set to perform the first single “Mr. Know It All” off her upcoming album, “Stronger,” as well as her hit song “Walk Away,” accompanied by pro dancers Mark Ballas, Sharna Burgess, Val Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd. Also rocking the stage is this year’s five-time Country Music Award nominee The Band Perry, who will perform “If I die Young, their triple-platinum single, accompanied with pros Louis Van Amstel and Karina Smirnoff. Also for the first time we welcome an “AT&T Spotlight Performance,” with this week’s spotlight on Charm Ladonna, a talented young lady who will be performing a memorable piece with pros Mark Ballas and Derek Hough. And the fifth couple will be sent home on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

With their common love for rock’s golden age and the crystalline sound they naturally created, The Bangles began their long and winding road together 30 years ago, and it is evident that their bond still remains with the release of their latest album, “Sweetheart of the Sun.” The album is their first release of new material in nearly eight years and is filled with a fresh batch of definitive Bangles songs. Some of the 10 original songs on this 12-song album are new, while others had extremely long gestation periods, tucked away but not forgotten. The Bangles — guitarist/singer Susanna Hoffs, guitarist/singer Vicki Peterson and drummer/singer Debbi Peterson — are currently on tour performing a mix of their classics and new material from “Sweetheart of the Sun.”

Kelly Clarkson’s bold empowerment anthems, including the first single, “Mr. Know It All,” from her new album “Stronger,” has proven that her lyrics sell to the fullest with her soulful, powerhouse voice and down-to-earth reliability. The album “Stronger,” which is set to release October 24th, includes fizzy pop melodies, bright choruses and driving dance floor-friendly beats, from producers Rodney Jerkins, Greg Kurstin, Josh Abraham and Tody Gad, only making the songs that much more appealing to her fans. Clarkson is an international pop icon, selling over 20 million albums worldwide and notching seven singles on the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. She has released four studio albums, including 2003′s double-platinum No. 1 “Thankful,” 2004′s six-time platinum “Breakaway,” 2007′s platinum selling “My December,” and 2009′s “All I Ever Wanted,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200. Clarkson has also received two Grammy ® Awards, two American Music Awards, two MTV Music Awards, and 11 Billboard Music Awards.

The Band Perry has won the hearts of millions of music fans with their “modern throwback” style. They have been nominated for and earned top honors for their debut album, “The Band Perry,” which combines masterful lyrics and traditional Country influences mixed with classic Rock ‘n Roll. They have toured extensively with icons such as Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban, and are now touring with Reba through the fall. Recently the members of The Band Perry racked up a total of five Country Music Award nominations and now have a new reason to celebrate — their smash single, “If I Die Young,” has been certified triple platinum. This milestone arrives as the family band marks the anniversary of their self-titled debut album, “The Band Perry,” which was released just one year ago this week on Republic Nashville.

New this season is the “AT&T’s Spotlight Performance,” which features and celebrates people whose lives have been changed forever by dance. This week “Dancing with the Stars” has chosen to spotlight dancer Charm Ladonna. This talented young lady has overcome adversity and now uses her talents to give back to her community. Her natural ability to dance was recognized at a very young age. However her family was unable to afford dance lessons. With the help and support of her mother, who worked a second job to pay for lessons, Charm used dancing as a way to stay positive and focused despite a rough upbringing in one of Compton’s toughest neighborhoods. Now a professional dancer, Charm gives back to her community, teaching dance to underprivileged kids at her childhood elementary school. She wants the kids in her community to know that they too can overcome adversity by believing in themselves and following their dreams.

By Tuesday evening’s end, one couple will be eliminated, as determined by a combination of the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes on dances performed on Monday’s performance show. Who among the eight couples will be the next to leave the ballroom?

* DAVID ARQUETTE, actor and producer, and partner KYM JOHNSON.
* CHAZ BONO, author and activist, and partner LACEY SCHWIMMER.
* NANCY GRACE, TV host and journalist, and partner TRISTAN MACMANUS.
* ROBERT KARDASHIAN, reality star, and partner CHERYL BURKE.
* CARSON KRESSLEY, television star and style guru, and partner ANNA TREBUNSKAYA.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ Cuts Loose with Blake Shelton, Raphael Saadiq and Susan Boyle

In this week’s “Dancing with the Stars,” the remaining nine pairs will perform their dance style of choice to an array of iconic movie scores, orchestrated by the brilliant “Dancing with the Stars” band, Monday, October 10 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

On Tuesday, the excitement continues as two-time former “Dancing with the Stars” champion Julianne Hough returns, performing a duet with her Footloose co-star Kenny Wormald to their remake of “Holding Out For A Hero.” Hough and Wormald star in the upcoming movie Footloose, a new take on the beloved 1984 classical film, directed by Craig Brewer and opening nationwide on October 14. After their duet, they will join Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year nominee Blake Shelton for an unforgettable performance of the wildly popular song, Footloose. One of the UK’s best-selling musical artists, Susan Boyle, graces the stage with a rendition of “Unchained Melody,” a worldwide television network exclusive performance, accompanied by pro dancers Val Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd. Also performing is Raphael Saadiq, bringing the soulful spirit of the ’60s to the ballroom, singing an original version of “Soul Man.” And before we say goodbye to one more couple, Julianne Hough hits dance floor with her brother and “Dancing with the Stars” three-time champion Derek Hough, performing a Jive choreographed by them to “Shake Your Tail Feather,” on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” Tuesday, October 11 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

Oklahoma-based entertainer Blake Shelton has proven himself to be one of country music’s brightest lights, as one of the genre’s most versatile and accomplished vocalists. His career has unfolded ever since his 2001 debut single, “Austin,” which brought him national attention. This year he has been nominated for 5 Country Music Awards, including their most prestigious honor, Entertainer of the Year. Shelton recently announced his first headlining arena tour, “Well Lit & Amplified Tour 2012,” which kicks off in January. The country superstar’s single, “God Gave Me You,” recently broke the Top 5 and is his fastest rising single to date. The emotionally powerful single is off his new album, “Red River Blue,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Soundscan Top Current Albums chart and Soundscan Top Country Albums chart. Shelton’s infectious multi-week No. 1 hit, “Honey Bee,” is also off his new album and is his first ever digital Platinum single. Shelton holds the record for the fastest-selling digital Platinum single for a male country solo artist. The single held the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Chart for four weeks in a row, with over 40 million in audience. No country artist has held this record in almost six years. His star power, world-class voice and irreverent personality have brought him acclaim that has translated well from the world of country music to a wider audience.

As a contemporary artist, Raphael Saadiq continues to honor tradition that goes back to the ’60s and ’70s through his music. Saadiq’s latest album, “The Way I See It,” his third solo album and first for Sony BGM, is a masterful collection of new material that speaks to his deep love for rhythm and blues.”The Way I See It” truly showcases the rich diversity of funky grooves and smooth balladry that is his calling card; it is a genuine feel good R& B album. Born and raised in Oakland, California, Saadiq began singing in a professional gospel group at the age of nine. His musical education encompassed classical music, ’40s spirituals, hymns, jazz and R&B. He was the lead vocalist and bass player with the late ’80s / early ’90s successful group Tony! Toni! Tone!. After leaving the group, he recorded two singles for hit movies, “Ask of You” from Higher Learning and “Me &You” from Boyz in the Hood. In 2000 he created the group Lucky Pearl, and the group’s sole self-titled album received Grammy(r) Award, American Music Award and Soul Train Music Award nominations. Saadiq is an award-winning producer who has worked with such artists as Joss Stone, The Roots, Snoop Dogg and John Legend, among many others. He is an all around musical inspiration, delivering the sound of soul, influenced by the music he grew up on.

As an international artist, Susan Boyle’s global record sales hit a monumental 14 million on the 14th month after her recording career started. With No. 1 albums in five continents, in over 20 countries, her albums have moved the Susan Boyle story far beyond her performance on a British Talent Show. For her devoted listeners, Boyle is constantly determined to find the emotional core of the music with modern classics, both secular and sacred, timeless love songs and twists on pop and rock curiosities. This humble woman from a sleepy and largely forgotten Scottish hamlet has become one of the premiere recording voices of her age. Her second album, “The Gift,” made her the first artist in history to have her first two records debut at No. 1 on both sides of the Atlantic. Now with the global launch of her third album, “Someone to Watch Over Me,” her music continues to touch people all over the world.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ to Feature Performances by Mary J. Blige, Estelle

On Tuesday, Multi-platinum R&B recording artist Mary J. Blige will take the stage for an unforgettable performance singing two songs, “Real Love” and “25/8.” Tuesday night’s “Macy’s Stars of Dance” performance pays tribute the beloved and iconic dance of an entire generation, “The Twist,” in celebration of its 50th year mark, featuring Grammy(r) Award winner, Estelle. Also, pro dancers Val Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd reunite with the Troupe for a special performance themed to “Gone with the Wind,” as a preview to next week’s Movie Scores theme, on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Since her 1992 debut, “What’s The 411?,” Mary J. Blige has sold over 60 million albums worldwide. Among her many accolades, Blige can claim six multi-platinum albums, nine Grammy Awards, with a staggering 28 nominations, as well as garnering four American Music Awards. Blige is the co-founder of the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN), whose mission is to empower women from all walks of life to reach their full individual potential. On July 31, 2010, Blige sold over 60 thousand bottles of her “My Life” perfume on the Home Shopping Network. Her perfume was the first to sell over 60,000 bottles in one day on HSN, and $1 from each purchase was donated to FFAWN. This past summer she released her second perfume called “My Life Blossom.” This November she is releasing her highly anticipated new album entitled “My Life II….The Journey Continues (Act 1).” She also has an original song featured in the film “The Help.” On the acting front, Blige will star as a lead in “Rock of Ages,” the Tony-nominated hit Broadway musical due next June, and will begin filming her role as Nina Simone in the autobiographical film this fall.

She may be a born-and-raised West London girl, but Estelle Swaray is right at home in the energy of New York, her newly adopted city. The Homeschool/Atlantic recording artist’s highly anticipated new album, “All of Me,” is heralded by three critically acclaimed singles, “Fall in Love (Feat. Nas),” “Break My Heart (Feat. Rick Ross)” and the recently released “Thank You.” “All of Me” followed the Grammy Award-winning singer’s 2008 U.S. debut, “Shine,” which marked the premiere release from Grammy Award-winner John Legend’s Homeschool Records label, in partnership with Atlantic Records, and was without question one of 2008′s most compelling releases. Executive-produced by Legend and Atlantic Records Chairman/CEO Craig Kallman, the album proved Estelle’s global breakthrough, fuelled in part by the phenomenal hit single, “American Boy (featuring Kanye West).” In addition to hitting #1 in the UK, “American Boy” topped the European Airplay Chart, along with airplay charts in the UK, France, Italy, Belgium, Denmark and Ireland. In the U.S., “American Boy” has been certified two-time platinum by the RIAA for digital sales exceeding 2 million. And in 2009, the track earned Estelle her first-ever Grammy Award, among many other prestigious honors.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ to Feature Performances by Demi Lovato and The Script

Following last week’s electrifying season 13 premiere, the eleven remaining couples hit the ballroom floor for the second time, performing either the Jive or the Quickstep, on this week’s “Dancing with the Stars,” Monday, September 26 at 8:00 pm ET on ABC.

On Tuesday, September 27 at 9:00 pm ET, on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” musical guest Demi Lovato returns to the ballroom to perform the hit single “Skyscraper” from her latest album, “Unbroken,” in a number choreographed by Emmy Award winner Wade Robson. The Script also grace the stage with a stellar live performance of their platinum selling hit single, “For the First Time,” off their sophomore album “Science & Faith,” and will be accompanied by “DWTS” returning pros Dmitry Chaplin and Chelsie Hightower. Also featured this week is the first “Macy’s Stars of Dance” performance of the season, with a number created by Emmy (r)Award-winning choreographer Marguerite Derricks, a piece inspired by the legendary Busby Berkeley. In addition, all nine male “DWTS” pros and troupe members will perform a thrilling number.

In the last few months Demi Lovato has been on fire. She’s hit the studio with an all-star list of collaborators including Timbaland, Jason Derulo, Ryan Tedder and Missy Elliot; the first single off “Unbroken,” “Skyscraper,” debuted at #1 on iTunes chart, #2 on the Billboard’s Hot Digital Singles chart, and #10 on the Billboard’s Hot 100. The singer and actress started in show business as a pre-teen and rose quickly. By the time she was 15 she was a bona fide TV star cultivating a promising singing career. In the late 2000s, while maintaining a rigorous TV and film shooting schedule, Lovato released two massively successful solo albums, “Don’t Forget” (2007) and “Here We Go Again” (2009); the former debuted at #2, the latter at #1. Her third solo LP, “Unbroken,” released September 20, 2011, showcases a collection of tracks that reveal a young woman with enough real life experience to appreciate the value of letting loose and enjoying herself. The songs run the gamut from epic ballad to cheeky pop power anthems. With the release of “Unbroken,” Lovato is focused on her immediate future and enjoying all that’s available to her, now that she’s back at the top of her game. The lead single, “Skyscraper,” has already reestablished her as a force to be reckoned with on the charts.

Hot off the heels of a #3 debut with their recent studio album, “Science & Faith,” and currently touring the U.S. on a string of sold out dates, The Script clearly have no plans to slow down. It’s been a rags to riches glory ride, an emotional rollercoaster, an all action, all-star blockbuster. Three young Dubliners, Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power, took on the world with music fashioned from the emotional detritus of their own hard lives, raised up by a love of pop, rock, hip hop and soul. In two years they’ve notched up a handful of hit singles around the world, including “Breakeven,” “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “We Cry.” Their 2008 self-titled debut album, “The Script,” went to #1 in the UK and Ireland, with more than 2 million in sales worldwide. They’ve played stadium shows with music heroes U2 and Sir Paul McCartney, and to cap it all, “Breakeven” — which has already sold over 2 million downloads in the U.S alone — rewrote history here in America on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart to take the #1 spot, where the song completed a record-setting 36-week rise to the summit.

By evening’s end, one couple will be eliminated, as determined by a combination of the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes on dances performed on Monday’s performance show. Who among the eleven couples will be the second team to leave?

  • DAVID ARQUETTE, actor and producer, and partner KYM JOHNSON.
  • CHAZ BONO, author and activist, and partner LACEY SCHWIMMER.
  • ELISABETTA CANALIS, model and actress, and partner VAL CHMERKOVSKIY.
  • KRISTIN CAVALLARI, TV star, and partner MARK BALLAS.
  • NANCY GRACE, TV host and journalist, and partner TRISTAN MACMANUS.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Results Show to Feature Harry Connick, Jr., LMFAO

A live one-hour special, “Dancing with the Stars: Meet the Cast,” airing Tuesday, September 20 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on the ABC Television Network, features the most exciting moments from Monday night’s performances, along with commentary from the judges and never-before-seen footage from the teams’ first weeks of training. Following the one-hour special will be the Season Premiere of “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” at 9:00 pm ET, with musical performances by Harry Connick, Jr. and LMFAO. By evening’s end, the first couple of the season will be sent home.

This week, Grammy ® and Emmy® Award winner Harry Connick, Jr. is set to perform “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever” from his upcoming Broadway musical by the same title. Electro hip-hop duo LMFAO also hits the stage, performing a medley of “Sexy and I Know it” and “Party Rock Anthem.” Both musical acts will be accompanied by “Dancing with the Stars” pros on the dance floor. Tuesday night’s musical acts will be the first to perform on the spectacular newly redesigned set that incorporates touches of the original ballroom, but now with three tiers of amphitheatre style balconies and state of the art staircase that moves with the band on a rising platform.

Harry Connick, Jr., one of today’s most successful and multi-talented artists, who has garnered acclaim in both the music and acting arenas, takes the stage. In addition to his role in “Dolphin Tale” and a 2011 Emmy win for “Harry Connick Jr. In Concert on Broadway,” he returns to Broadway this fall in the revival of the musical “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.” His love of music and performing dates back to his childhood in New Orleans, where he studied piano with such luminaries as James Booker and Ellis Marsalis. He first performed publicly at age 5, appeared on his first recording at age 10 and released his self-titled major label debut for Columbia Records at 19, only a year after his high school graduation and his move to New York City. In the two decades since, he has released more than 20 albums, totaling more than 25 million in sales, and has received numerous music honors, including three Grammy Awards. He made his feature film acting debut in the World War II drama “Memphis Belle.” His acting credits also include Jodie Foster’s “Little Man Tate”; Jon Amiel’s “Copycat”; “Independence Day,” with Will Smith; “Hope Floats,” opposite Sandra Bullock; “Mickey,” written by John Grisham; William Friedkin’s “Bug”; Richard LaGravenese’s “P.S. I Love You,” with Hilary Swank; and “New in Town,” opposite RenŽe Zellweger. On the small screen, Connick starred in the ABC presentation of the musical “South Pacific” and played the recurring role of Grace’s love interest, Dr. Leo Markus, on the hit NBC series “Will & Grace.” In addition, he won Emmy Awards for the PBS Great Performances concert specials “Harry Connick, Jr: Only You,” and most recently for “Harry Connick, Jr. In Concert on Broadway.” In 2006, Connick made his Broadway acting debut in the Tony Award-winning revival of “The Pajama Game,” earning nominations for Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics

Circle and Drama League Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Musical. He had earlier received a Tony nomination for Best Original Score for the 2001 musical “Thou Shalt Not.” In summer 2010, he performed in concert on Broadway, in a sold-out limited engagement at the Neil Simon Theatre.

LMFAO, the Grammy-nominated electro hip-hop duo of Redfoo and Sky Blu, perform a medley that includes Billboard Magazine’s 2011 song of the summer, “Party Rock Anthem!” The track held the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top 100 Singles chart for 8 weeks in a row, and had the world shuffling as it topped the charts in 15 other countries. The duo’s sophomore set “Sorry for Party Rocking,” was released in June on Party Rock/will.i.am/Cherrytree/Interscope Records, where it debuted at #12 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. LMFAO first got the party started with the release of their 2009 debut album, “Party Rock,” which included the singles “I’m in Miami Bitch,” “Shots feat. Lil Jon” and “Yes,” and was nominated for Best Electronic/Dance Album at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, where the duo successfully — and hilariously — hosted the pre-tel awards ceremony.

Hosted by Tom Bergeron (“America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Brooke Burke (“Dancing with the Stars” Season 7 champion), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

“Dancing with the Stars” is the U.S. version of the international smash hit series, “Strictly Come Dancing.” This version is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions.
