In case you missed it on last night’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ results show, or just want to re-live the magic all over again, ABC has released this clip from the show featuring the full Macy’s Stars of Dance performance of ‘Step in Time’ from the Broadway production of Mary Poppins featuring the touring cast.
The six remaining couples celebrate the show’s 200th episode with the challenge of performing an iconic dance from the “Dancing with the Stars” history vault and competing in a team dance, on “Dancing with the Stars,” Monday, November 1 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Six former “Dancing with the Stars” celebrities return as guest judges as they watch one of their iconic performances recreated on the dance floor. The second element of the show will be a team competition. For the first time in the team competition, fan favorites and former Mirror Ball champions Apolo Anton Ono and Kristi Yamaguchi return as team captains.

The “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” design team discovered there was a whole lot of shaking going on in Neenah, Wisconsin when they met Rhex Arboleda. Rhex is a hometown hero who has distinguished himself by locally leading the movement to banish the childhood obesity epidemic. In 2004 he created “Move to the Groove,” a dance program designed to get both teachers and students on their feet and in shape. Rhex’s award-winning dance program is currently being used in three elementary schools where health and wellness is a priority. Ironically Rhex’s own health and wellness, and that of his family, is compromised by the state of the 70-year-old home they live in.
On TUESDAY, MAY 18 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” multiplatinum recording artist and actress Miley Cyrus will perform the live television debut of her new hit single, “Can’t Be Tamed,” from her upcoming album releasing June 22 on Hollywood Records. The youngest-ever recording artist with five chart topping debuts, Cyrus has sold over 15 million records, including the EP, “The Time of Our Lives,” which featured her No. 1 hit, “Party in the USA.”
As we mentioned in an earlier item, Toy Story 3 from Disney/Pixar features Buzz Lightyear and Jessie engaging in a Paso Dablo (double-step) when Buzz is switched into Spanish mode to the tune of ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me’ as performed by the Gipsy Kings.
In order to replicate the dance as closely as possible, the team at Pixar Animation Studios called upon Dancing with the Stars professionals Tony Dovolani and Cheryl Burke to help them choreograph the scene. The story of the collaboration is told in the following video clip from ABC which features backstage footage and an animation test.
According to Lane Bryant, the retailer catering to plus-sized women, ABC initially rejected a television advertisement featuring a new line of intimate apparel that it had hoped to air during an episode of Dancing with the Stars. Lane Bryant claimed that the ad for its Cacique line was no more provocative than other commercials from retailers such as Victoria’s Secret and bra manufacturer Playtex that are routinely aired on network television during the same or similar time periods. Although Playtex does run ads for fuller-figure women (although not quite as daring), Lane Bryant called foul on the basis of size discrimination.
