Nearly four years ago, we first talked about a patented process being developed by Disney in order to make cakes appear to be interactive using projection mapping, a technique oft favored nowadays by Walt Disney Imagineering. But now it’s Disney Fairy Tale Weddings who have seen the projected light as they demonstrate in this newly released video offering a sample of what they can deliver couples at their Disney weddings.
Alfred Angelo, America’s oldest and largest family-owned and operated bridal company, has unveiled the first gown from its 2014 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings collection inspired by Disney Princess Ariel. The gown’s debut is timed with the release of The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition on Blu-ray™ and celebrates Ariel’s determined, adventurous and spirited personality.
The new Ariel-inspired gown can be seen on the cover of the November/December issue of Bridal Guide magazine and features a sweetheart neckline and bodice made of hand-tacked, draped organza over satin. The skirt is designed with vertical rows of flowing organza ruffles edged with silk ribbon and metallic embroidery. To add a splash of glamor and sparkle, the gown is finished with an organza belt sewn with crystals and silver beading.
Alfred Angelo and Disney Consumer Products celebrate the release of Disney’s Cinderella Diamond Edition, available on Blu-ray™ for the first time this Fall, with a one-of-a-kind Cinderella- inspired bridal collection.
This unique line of limited-release wedding dresses consists of five exquisite styles in soft shades of blue. The soon-to-be-wed pair, of Orlando, Fla., is among 11 couples from 11 different cities to say “I do” at Disney on 11/11/11—a date that has special meaning to LaValley and Gocinski.
