Disney Interactive Studios has released this first-look featurette with Junction Point’s Warren Spector, Paul Weaver (Studio Director) and Chase Jones (Design Director) as they talk about their new title, ‘Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two’ which features the ability to play as both Mickey and Oswald with ‘couch co-op.’
Today we get our sixth and final look at the lands to explore in Disney Interactive’s ‘Disney Universe’ before it hits shelves on October 25 (available for pre-order for Xbox, PS3, Wii and PC), just in time for Halloween. The world of Aladdin joins previously viewed worlds Monsters, Inc., Wall-E, Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean as the six worlds that will ship with the game, with more becoming available via Downloadable Content (DLC) for the Microsoft Xbox and PlayStation 3 editions.
In honor of International Talk Like A Pirates Day, we have a new video look at the ‘Pirates World’ portion of the upcoming Disney Interactive Studios title, ‘Disney Universe’ which will be available to own October 25 (and now available for pre-order from Amazon.com).

It appears Halloween has come a day early as new information for ‘Disney Universe’ from Disney Interactive Studios has surfaced today rather than the original anticipated date of August 18, otherwise known as Disney D23 Expo-eve. Although we expect to see more character costumes and screenshots within the next day or so, Disney has released a new gameplay trailer featuring The Lion King, one of six worlds that will come with the game initially, with more promised in the way of Downloadable Content on the PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox platforms in the future. Other previously share worlds include Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. and WALL-E along with Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.
The iconic PC classic game of logic is back, this time exclusively for the iPad. At E3, Disney Mobile announced it’s bringing ‘The Incredible Machine’ to the iPad this month. Originally released for the PC in 1993 and named one of the Top 150 games by Computer Gaming World magazine, ‘The Incredible Machine’ challenges players to solve puzzles by building comically-engineered contraptions to accomplish simple objectives. With straightforward touch controls, Retina Display graphics, original music, and great sound effects, ‘The Incredible Machine’ inspires the imagination with mind-bending invention, physics and hours of fun.
In honor of E3, Disney Interactive Studios has released a brand new trailer which features actual gameplay taking place in both the Monsters, Inc. and Alice in Wonderland worlds, two of six that will be included at the initial launch with additional worlds available in the future via downloadable content on the Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox platforms.
The game trailer also shows off some of the potential co-op play in which players work both with each other and against each other to accomplish the various tasks.
Last week, we reported a brief appearance of a video game titled ‘Disney Universe’ that had made its way to Amazon.com but was removed shortly thereafter.

The teaser features little blue characters in CosPlay format, portraying a character from TRON: Legacy, Mike Wazowski from Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., Alice from Alice in Wonderland and Stitch from Lilo and Stitch along with the tagline: ‘Suit Up. Power Up. Team Up.’
